Gary spent time teaching us about every aspect of our new Outback and repeatedly told us to reach out to him with any questions. We found it a very refreshing experience to car shop without playing games and will definitely return and send our friends and family to Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru! Also, they had the car I was looking for in stock! I had looked high and low at dealers more local to me, and no one else would have been able to get the car for at least 10 weeks! My wife and I visited the dealership a few weeks prior to making our purchase, and even though we made it clear that we weren't going to make the purchase on that day, we were very impressed by Stuart expertise and patience, He devoted a substantial amount of time with us, allowing us to test drive two cars that we were considering. Although we took two weeks to make our decision to choose the Forester, we immediately decided that we would be purchasing our new car from Bill Kolb Subaru. We've heard such wonderful things about the car, and about Subarus, in general, so we just had to test drive a few. Luckily enough, we got paired with who seemed to be the friendliest, most knowledgable salesperson at the dealership. From the time we stepped inside the showroom, to when we left with the keys the next day, Howard was there for us 110%. He answered all of our questions and truly had so much to share with us without making us feel pressured to buy a car. After all the test drives and experiencing the amazingly safe features, we knew the Subaru Forester would be our next car! We picked out a color and Howard proceeded with the paperwork. Right before he was finished, my husband and I decided we wanted a different color. Without a flinch, Howard happily began filling out new paperwork. Then once again, we decided we wanted a different color. We didn't want to be annoying customers, but we wanted to be certain we really liked the color, especially since we were buying the car. Again, Howard couldn't have been more pleasant! He just wanted to make sure we were happy, and that was all we could ask for. This truly was a great car buying experience. Howard even contacted us the next week after the purchase to make sure we were enjoying our new car. I can assure you that our next car will be another Subaru, and we won't think twice about going back to Howard! More

Purchase Experience I was thrilled with the way that I was treated by Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru. Though we now live in Pennsylvania, more than 2 hours from the dealership, my I was thrilled with the way that I was treated by Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru. Though we now live in Pennsylvania, more than 2 hours from the dealership, my wife and I felt compelled to drive to see our salesman Howard Bonfield. When I first met Howard and asked to test drive the Forester and Outback models, most sales people would have blown off the request because of the long distance that we live from the dealership. Howard was most accommodating with no pressure other than to assure me that the Subaru was a vehicle worthy of my review. He took the time to thoroughly explain each feature and its benefit without time constraints. The pricing was done fairly and over the phone. The paperwork was professionally prepared when we arrived and Howard, to his credit, again spent a considerable amount of time explaining the documents we needed to sign and then delivered our car with the same attention to detail about the Outback features. He truly wanted us to enjoy the car. To sum up, the decision to buy from Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru was made with considerable thought on our part and we definitely made the right decision. would highly recommend the dealership, the car and the salesman to anyone seriously looking for a great car buying experience. I will (and have) recommended Bill Kolb as the place for Subaru in the Rockland (NY) and Bergen (NJ) area, and would recommend contacting Sonny for assistance in purchase. More

A few days later - for reasons having nothing to do with the dealership - we had to cancel the order. We weren't given a hard time and the deposit was refunded with relative simplicity. Poor customer service!!!! I was convinced to purchase the extended warranty on the vehichle. I was told that if there were no problems with the car I would get the money back.
