I purchased a 2020 Sienna and have brought up the issue of this vehicle having hesitation and acceleration issues after the first week of owning ii and numerous times since then. On all occasions I was tol of this vehicle having hesitation and acceleration issues after the first week of owning ii and numerous times since then. On all occasions I was told by the service department that this was normal for the car because of the Eco system. Now the word has finally come out that there is a recall because of the fuel pump. I’m a descent hands on type of person and know when things are just not right, so why aren’t the trained technicians capable of finding and fixing the issues? Now I am aware that this vehicle can stall on me at any time and they don’t have the parts to fix it. I surely hope nothing happens to my family or anyone as a result of what I see as negligence on the part of Toyota and the Bill Penny dealership. More

PSA: DO NOT USE Bill Penney Toyota's Service department. We have been buying Toyota's from Bill Penney for 15+ years and getting our vehicles serviced throughout the service department. We have noticed the We have been buying Toyota's from Bill Penney for 15+ years and getting our vehicles serviced throughout the service department. We have noticed the last few times things seemed off. At least TWICE now they have failed to change the oil when they clearly documented that they changed it. The last time my husband called them out on it and they made it right, but a routine oil change, tire rotation, and recall fix took almost 4 hours.... RIDICULOUS!!! Let's not mention the fact that he is currently in the garage ROTATING the tires that they said they rotated and CLEARLY did NOT rotate. I would be more pissed off had we been paying for these, but we are still under the Penney Perks. So, be forewarned that you are probably paying for things they aren't doing and running the risk of ruining your car. Penney Perks or not, we will likely be taking our vehicles to Tire Discounters from here on out because they have always done a great job and in a very timely manner. We will be contacting the corporate office as this is UNACCEPTABLE business practices!!!!! More
Nope. This service department sucks. They never ever reset anything. Every time I go there for my “free” device I’m there at least 2 hours and then have to go back because they don’t reset things after reset anything. Every time I go there for my “free” device I’m there at least 2 hours and then have to go back because they don’t reset things after service. Nope. Never again. One time they tried to sell me tires because they found a nail in my tire. I didn’t buy and there was nothing ever wrong with my tire. More

Upon arrival Chris explained to me I need a change the Air Filter, This car has 26,000 miles on it, so I agreed. I have Toyota Preferred Care, so my oil change and Tire rotation was FREE. Went to pick up my Vehicle I owed a Whopping $290.00 for a air Filter. WOW that must be some more air Filter. I discussed this with him , Chris Informed me he wrote the Tickent Correctly, he does not write things wrong...VERY RUDE did not like me questioning the Price. So I paid the Bill. Later I wanted to talk to the Service Manager Named Mac, Never got a return call or anything! Please do not use these People. In today's world there is so many more dealerships to choose from. I took my new Camry to the service department to have nitrogen added to my tires and was told that they only fill them one time per year. The tires were low when I bought it two weeks ago. On another vis nitrogen added to my tires and was told that they only fill them one time per year. The tires were low when I bought it two weeks ago. On another visit just one week later I took my car back because the factory tint was peeling and had bubbles. They did a poor job of fixing the window tint and scratched the door. I am very unhappy with their parts and repair department. I will be finding another dealer to do my maintenance and warranty work. More

I arrived ten minutes early and they checked in my vehicle. I told them I would be waiting for it to get done. After 1 hour and 45 minutes I went to check to see what was taking so long and was told my vehicle had not even been started yet. The service rep said they were behind schedule and had been all day. After another hour they called and told me my car was done. The service rep then walked me out to their finished service lot only to discover my car was not there. The service rep said they would go find it and then shortly returned back to me to say that my car was not done that they messed up which car was completed. Finally, after over 3 hours they were able to complete a simple oil change and tire rotation. I told the service rep that if they are behind why don't they call and tell the customer so they can come in when the car will actually be serviced. The response was that is a good idea. I also asked why I wasn't told when I checked in that they were so far behind and received no answer. I bet if I came in 3 hours late for my scheduled appointment they would have refused to complete my car that day. However, they seem perfectly okay with giving me the time they want me to come in and then be so far behind it takes them 3 hours to do a 45 minute job all while not mentioning anything to me the customer. The only reason I gave them a one star rating is because there was not a lower option. More
Do not go to service car there!Do not use body shop.either Have had some problems back with my Celica a/c. They did add freon, but never checked for leaks. A few weeks, later, jad to bring it back. They recharge Have had some problems back with my Celica a/c. They did add freon, but never checked for leaks. A few weeks, later, jad to bring it back. They recharged me again for freon, whick came out close,to a $100. Today brought the Prius in as TPMS light came on and stayed on after checking all tire pressure. Needed to replace one sensor. After waiting over two hours for the job the brought the car back.. They let the battery run down. I feel every time we go there, they find faults somewhere else. They also charge over $100 more that they did not tell us about it. More

When I made the appointment I specifically asked for synthetic oil. I dropped the vehicle off and waited for about 2 hours. I talked to the service coordinator and asked if they put synthetic in and he said "its all synthetic". When driving home I noticed some clear drops on the windshield and thought maybe it was water and turned on the wipers. The liquid was not water as it smeared across the windshield. I pulled over and opened the hood to find that the person who worked on my car had splattered oil all over the engine compartment and up into the wiper area and didn't even attempt to clean it up! I called the dealer spoke to the service coordinator and the service manager. The manager made arrangements for me to drop the vehicle off the next morning at 9am to get the engine cleaned up. That evening i checked the part number of the oil on the print out and found it in fact WAS NOT synthetic (5W30 bulk)- although the service coordinator said it was all synthetic. I called and left a message with the service manager. When I arrived the next morning and pulled the vehicle into the garage I popped the hood and showed it to the toyota service folks standing there - they couldn't believe the work was done that way. The service manager came over talked to me and then instructed the service folks to get the engine and other areas cleaned up and also replace the oil with 0W20 synthetic. I was given a ride home and picked up about 5-1/2 hours later. When I arrived I asked the the new service coordinator if everything was done and he agreed. I asked him if the 0W20 was ok for my engine which calls for 5W30. He said yes. I looked over the engine and it was cleaned up although they left the dirty paper mat in the car. Well, I drove home and checked the owners manual and it states that 5W30 is the recommended oil and use of 10W30 for a temporary period is ok as long as it is changed out. Several web sites confirmed this. I called the dealer the next day, Saturday 10 August and after 3 calls got hold of a service coordinator. I told them I need to get a print out of the service that was done on Friday 9 August. They mentioned that 0W20 was used and would print out the service record. When I arrived later in the afternoon the print out was there but it was dated from Thursday 8 August showing 5W30 was used. I asked for the service record from 9 August and the service coordinator said this is what I'm getting and it is the holy grail! What a farce - I had some choice words to say to him. Anyway I plan to pursue this tomorrow to see how this horror story continues to unfold. I have had a number of nagging issues with service at Bill Penney over the past several years with 3 toyota vehicles and this tops them all. I am done with them and the next time I need a new toyota vehicle I will avoid Bill Penney at all costs... More
Service is Awful - Quality of Work is Horrible My latest experience with Bill Penney's service department will be my last. Arrived early for an 8 AM appointment for a tire rotation and to check a l My latest experience with Bill Penney's service department will be my last. Arrived early for an 8 AM appointment for a tire rotation and to check a leak in a tire on my wife's car. After dropping the car off, I took my car to another dealership in town for an oil change and tire rotation. I arrived at the other dealership with no appointment and they took my car immediately in and completed this service plus a car wash and vacuum within an hour and a half. Went home and waited for 7 and a half hours to finally go back to Bill Penney and check on my wife's car. During the day I called 3 different times and left a message. I was never talked to nor was my message returned. When my wife and I arrived at the service department, we were told that her car had been "lost" in the lot. After a very insincere apology and management blaming the technicians for the failure, we waited until around the time that they closed to get the car back. The next morning, the tire light came back on. Not only did it take a full 8 hours to rotate the tires (incorrectly based on the new location of the leak) and attempt to patch a leak, but they were not able to actually get anything fixed. This is just the last in a series of incredibly poor service. This is currently the worst Toyota service department that I have ever worked with. We are done with Bill Penney. If regular customers continue to be treated this way, they will leave. As Huntsville grows, so will the competition and Bill Penney should not take business for granted. More
