We have to haggle over the price, as they quoted me a number. Then when they came out of the back office, the price the sales person gave me was not what the finance manager put on paper. I nearly walked number. Then when they came out of the back office, the price the sales person gave me was not what the finance manager put on paper. I nearly walked over a $300 discrepancy. The sales person said “I actually can’t quote a number”. I said, “You represent Bill Utter Ford, you said, make it $23K and We’ll make the deal!” When I accepted his 23K offer, it went to $23,300. I actually walked out the door. He chased me out and offered me the $23 again and apologized for the misunderstanding. I said there was no misunderstanding, you said $23 and then raised the price. It worked out, but only after I became upset with the sales rep. Toronto made up the difference while doing all the financial, warranty and TTL paperwork. He was a pleasure to work with, and had a fantastic attitude. More
