Recall fix, not so much I took my Escape in for the door latch recall. Imagine my surprise when, after the fix, my door flew open as I was driving! Apparently- the door latch I took my Escape in for the door latch recall. Imagine my surprise when, after the fix, my door flew open as I was driving! Apparently- the door latch - which never caused an issue before now sticks and thus allows the door to fly open. So, I called to let Bill Utter Ford know of the issue and was told to absolutely bring it back on Monday and they would get it right in...unless it’s after 5pm, the technicians go home at 5pm. They had no loaner car available, so I was unable to leave my vehicle. Hey Bill Utter- the correct response would have been, “let me find a car for you so we can correct this problem immediately”! On a high note, we are in the market for a new F 150 Super Crew and will not be shopping with them...I do not know the name of the person that “helped my husband” tonight. Erin was very helpful on Saturday. More
