If I could give negative stars I would. I came in with the driver's side lumbar blowing a fuse. I have an extended warranty on this vehicle and I agreed to the 100 dollar "diagnosis" fee that would be ref the driver's side lumbar blowing a fuse. I have an extended warranty on this vehicle and I agreed to the 100 dollar "diagnosis" fee that would be refunded. The service writer Mike Richardson called me and stated "wires under seat got wrapped around the seat tracks and I would have to pay for fixing it. He quoted 550 dollars to fix it. I am a former "trimmer" I worked for years as a electrician in a dealership. I diagnosed this before taking the car in. There was NO damage to the wires under the seat. The fault lay INSIDE the seat at the lumbar connector. When I went to the dealership I demanded to see the damaged wiring. Mike brought the car up and it had the BACK and SIDE of the seat dissembled. The problem was on the INSIDE of the seat NOT the underside. He showed me a connector that had wires pulled out. So what? The damage happened INSIDE the seat and should have been covered by warranty. Warranty pays the tech and Bill Utter minimally and obviously this dishonest dealer wants to make more money by customer pay work.I can prove this with pictures that show NO DAMAGE TO THE WIRES UNDER THE SEAT. Avoid this dishonest dealer at all costs. More
