I called ahead to confirm the information I saw online when making my appointment. I needed to be located near work & drop my vehicle off for servicing & needed a courtesy ride back to my office 1 mile away. I was told yes, someone could take me back to my office when I dropped the vehicle off for the 10:30 AM appt. As soon as I checked in, I mentioned needing a ride to my Tech who pointed & said see someone over at the Check Out Desk. So I wandered over to the desk and there were 3 ladies sitting there and one man who looked like a manager perhaps. They were all talking to each other and trying to figure out how one girl should log in to a particular system. After 2-3 minutes, someone finally acknowledged my presence & apologized, but didn't ask if they could help me. After several more minutes of the man & 2 younger ladies discussing the one girl's log on issue, the other lady asked if she could help me. I moved back around to her side of the counter & she said the driver was out right now taking other people places & would be back soon. When I asked how long it might be, she said she didn't know but would call the driver. I took a seat to wait. After 5 minutes or so, I went back up and asked again, how long before the driver was back. She said he would be about 15 minutes from the time she called him. I'm thinking OMG, I'll be here nearly 30 minutes by then! So I go back to my seat and wait, text my boss and apologize for the delay. After 20 more minutes, I get up and approach the lady again but she is on the phone. I ask one of the other younger girls who says she has no idea. I go back up to the service desk to look for my tech to ask how long my truck will take to be done, but he's on the phone. Finally, he's available and checks to see where the truck is and it's sitting outside the bays still waiting to be started. I ask again about the courtesy shuttle and I am told to wait while he checks on it. While he's checking the driver returns and my tech says, he'll get him to take me first. Well, no one else was waiting for the shuttle so we left. I had been there an hour & 10 minutes! Needless to say, I did not ask for the "courtesy" shuttle to come back and get me when my truck was done 2 hours later. I called my niece and asked her to come by on her way home (20 minutes out of her way). So at 4:00 PM when she arrives I leave work early and go to pick up my truck. I had lost over 2 hours of productivity, which was completely unplanned and I had tried hard to avoid. I will never have my vehicle serviced at this location again. If you made it this far, you should also know that my husband said when he was looking to purchase my truck 10 months ago, he had spoken to the internet sales team after looking at the online inventory and had a terrible experience with them also. This is why my truck was purchased at the Grapevine Ford dealership and not at Bill Utter Ford. More
