If i could give 0 Stars, I would I purchased a 2017 BMW 540i xDrive from BlueWater MotorSports in Wilmington, NC, and unfortunately it has been one headache after another since the day I bought it. The vehicle was transported home by trailer and was not driven the two-hour trip home. Within hours of taking possession of the vehicle, a low coolant warning appeared. When I contacted the dealership, I was told the coolant had been filled before delivery. We added coolant ourselves, but the level continued to drop, indicating a leak. The dealership asked me to take the vehicle to an independent repair shop for inspection. At their request, I paid $179 for a diagnostic inspection, which confirmed a leaking water pump along with several additional mechanical issues, including an oil filter housing leak, a split drive axle boot, a failed battery load test, and brake fluid service needs. After reviewing the report, the dealership gave me two options: trailer the vehicle back to Wilmington (over two hours away) for repairs or have them send the water pump while I paid for local labor. Since the vehicle was not reliable enough to drive long distances and transporting it again would have required additional trailer costs, fuel expenses, and time away from work, I chose the local repair option. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication. Nearly every update required waiting for a manager to respond before anyone could give us answers. We were repeatedly told someone would get back to us, only to wait days for updates. We were also told a replacement part was being shipped, but after weeks of delays and little communication, we became tired of waiting and ended up ordering the part ourselves just to move the process along. The water pump has now been replaced, yet the vehicle is STILL leaking coolant and the issue remains unresolved. Since purchasing this BMW, I have spent more time coordinating diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting than actually enjoying or driving the vehicle. What makes this especially frustrating is that the coolant issue was reported immediately after purchase, documentation was provided, and the dealership acknowledged the problem. Despite ongoing communication and repair attempts, I am still dealing with the same issue almost a month later. Between diagnostic costs, repair expenses, fuel costs, lost time from work, trailer transportation expenses, and the inability to reliably use the vehicle I purchased, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. The reality is that I purchased a vehicle with a major issue that was discovered immediately after purchase, and nearly a month later I am still unable to enjoy the car as expected. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from BlueWater MotorSports to obtain a thorough independent inspection before purchase and carefully consider the potential costs, inconvenience, and challenges you may face if problems arise after the sale. More
Probably worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with. The owner is a xxxxxxx who has no idea how to run a business. Absolute clown. They sell junk vehicles with multiple issues. I purchased a BMW X1 from this dealership four months ago. When we signed the paperwork, the dealership agreed that they would repair or replace our windshield. After four months of trying to contact them, we still have a windshield that needs to be replaced. So regardless of the fact that this dealership signed a contract with us saying they would “repair or replace”, they have yet to keep their promise. I have called and emailed multiple times and never get any answer….just sent to someone’s voicemail. So buyer beware!!! If you want to buy a car from them and they offer you a “we owe you” legal document….run! They won’t hold up their own contract! More

After looking at many 4Runners all over the place we decided that BlueWater’s 4Runner was the one. Absolutely best price, trade-in value, condition, and professional no pressure expertise! Tripp and Greg Tumolo made Cori’s first big purchase a great one to appreciate and we couldn’t be more pleased. Very, very good experience! Thank you Tripp and Greg… see you on the next purchase! Unprofessional rude and once they got my check they ghosted me. 4 phone calls and 2 texts. No responce from anyone. Out land out lied too by sales man Charlie and Faith sent me a nasty message. Gosh, Mike was so patience with helping me accomplish my goal. A safe car for my granddaughter!! A few hiccups on my end yet all was taken care of within a day. Most unprofessional environment. I was only allowed to test drive around parking lot and couldn’t tell that the battery was bad until I drove it off the lot and the heads up display I was only allowed to test drive around parking lot and couldn’t tell that the battery was bad until I drove it off the lot and the heads up display wasn’t working properly. It was due to a bad battery and I ended up paying $400 after only 9 days of owing the car. Of course Mike Duffy told me there was nothing they could do. Every dealership that’s worth anything always has at least a 2 week warranty for anything that goes wrong, not this one! I would not recommend to anybody who wants reliable wheels! Mike Duffy just sat there sipping his cherry coke while I did everything myself. Super lazy and very unprofessional in every way! Will never be back! More
