He and I continued to text, talk and email over the next few days as he got me further information about their inventory, processed our credit app and set up a time to come down and take a test drive on the one vehicle we honed in on. We had all the time we wanted to drive the truck, inspect it and review the Car Fax. Once we decided to make a purchase Hook Chevy's finance department was very pleasant to work with offering us a much better interest rate than our own bank offered in spite of the fact we have a sterling credit record and very high credit score. Hook's financing branch recognized that and within a minimum of time had the sale concluded and we were driving home with the truck we needed for our small business! We all know the running jokes and usual disdain heaped on "used car" dealers but I've got to honestly say that the people we dealt with at Hook Chevrolet are doing all they can to dispel that cliched notion. When we test drove the vehicle I noticed the gas guage was literally on "E" so I figured my first stop was a gas station but during our finance meeting Michael had the tank filled up for us which was the icing on the cake. From the very first contact until we drove off the lot my wife and I were treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism from every single person we encountered at Hook.
