After getting the run around for a week, Chance admitted today that there is no inspection report...Seems like this would be SOP- check a car, keep a list....I asked for the name of the General Manager and Chance lied to me and said he couldn't give it out-I called the receptionist and she gave it to me like she was used to saying his name...lie about small things, you gonna lie about anything. Picked up a used Nissan Xterra from Bob Howard Toyot Worst car buying experience I've ever had in my 18 years of driving and purchasing vehicles. Picked up a used Nissan Xterra from Bob Howard Toyota on 8/20/15, and almost as soon as my brother and I got it off the lot, the issues began. Driver side power mirror stopped working, 4wd indicator intermittently would go out, etc. The next morning (8/21) I phoned into my salesman to report the issues, and he told me he'd call me with a date to bring it in to have it repaired. 9/9/15 rolls around, still hadn't heard back from them, so I called and was referred to Jeff, their sales manager, and was informed that my salesman had left on a leave of absence so I'd have to go directly through J.C. After talking with him, and explaining what was going on, he set me up to bring it in on 9/15/15 and drop it off. 9/18/15 comes along and it's time to pick up my vehicle, and immediately I notice that it's not completed like I was told; only one issue was fixed. I went back in, talked to J.C. again, and since I had an event I had to attend that weekend, I agreed to bring it back in the following Monday (9/21). Dropped my Xterra off again, and the next day I was informed that they couldn't find any water leaks in the hatch (they "ran a hose all over the vehicle"), the roof rack seals were in good shape (funny, considering one is completely missing), and the 4wd indicator on the dash wasn't supposed to be on unless it was malfunctioning. All of these were far and away false, and wrong. I told J.C. that it definitely had to be leaking somewhere as I had watched the water leak in, and that the indicator indeed was supposed to be on AT ALL TIMES to indicate to the driver whether they were in 2wd, 4wd, or 4wd-Lo. He tells me he's going to forward it to their sister Nissan company since they'll know more about the vehicle than they do, and it would be taken care of. Friday (9/25) I got the call again to come get the vehicle. Once again, one issue fixed (4wd indicator) of the several I had noted...took it to a car wash to wash all the greasy mechanic fingerprints off of it that they had left all over my vehicle, and it began leaking 100 times WORSE than when I had taken it in! And not like little dribbles of water, IT WAS NOW POURING IN THE BACK HATCH!! I immediately took video and pictures while in the wash bay, and called the General Manager first thing the next morning (9/26). After leaving messages for days, my call was finally returned by Buck on 9/29, and was told he would check with service to see what needed to be done to get my vehicle back in and fixed correctly, and then he would call me back. That was back on 9/29/15. It is now 10/15/15 and I have yet to hear back from anybody at Bob Howard Toyota. On 10/1/15 I spoke to the receptionist, and she actually refused to forward my call back to Buck's office because he was "too busy", he was "new", and also they "had been robbed on Monday (9/28)" so he was busy dealing with that. Nobody will take my calls, nor will they return my calls. I still have water pouring in the back hatch of my vehicle every time I wash it. This is a hazard. I even bought the extended warranty, and now I wonder if I can even trust them to work on my vehicle properly in the event it needs warranty work done... More

I talked to them over a week ago with interest in a used toyota truck they have had up for a while, they told me when I called that the truck was no longer there and then immediately started pitching me other higher price / higher mile options. I told them to take the ad down and they didn't, so I called in again and the same thing happened. It is clearly a weak attempt at getting people on the phone or to come in to see a specific vehicle and then put them in whatever they have at the time. With this experience and that of the many others leaving poor reviews, buyer beware. More
