New vehicle delivery. Picking up a New Car. You should not see stickers in the front window, or notice your oil life is reading 36. Plus your air pressure alarm is going of Picking up a New Car. Four times! And total my truck was towed six times, four times to Bob Johnson Chevrolet. 2 times to auto finishers. After telling the service advisors that ot And total my truck was towed six times, four times to Bob Johnson Chevrolet. 2 times to auto finishers. After telling the service advisors that others think that the problem looks to be the fuel pump that was the last thing that was looked at. I was told that the problem was the automatic starter and that I must have it removed! So I towed the truck to auto finishers and had the unit removed. So yes... the tows and the removal and re-install was costly and not necessary! The charges were over $490! The service department gave me bad advice In addition, another frustrating situation was when the truck broke down in the dealers lot (upfront). It was left so the can fix whatever the problem was... but when I came back the next day, I noticed that the truck was not ever moved or looked at by a technician! How do I know that? It was Obvious and Chris the service advisor told me that. Chris also mentioned that the shop manager told him that they won’t continue to work on the truck until the remote start is removed!!! Chris is a professional and was nice. But nice still cost me almost $500 I believe if you can fix a problem that third or fourth time and you can certainly fix that same problem the first time in! More
