My salesmen, Brian Richardson, and Jerry Walker were the best. They ran me thru the process very fast and knowledgeable and had me out of the dealership in a short time. The finance person, Ted Kipp was also excellent! Ted shopped and shopped and made phone calls to get us a great interest rate and then processed the paperwork in a very timely fashion. A great team!! "Friendly & Family-Oriented" You can either go to a dealership that will do their best to dig their hands as far deep into your wallet as they can get them...or you can go to Bob You can either go to a dealership that will do their best to dig their hands as far deep into your wallet as they can get them...or you can go to Bob Mayberry where your wants, needs, and customer-satisfaction are their focus points. I couldn't be happier that my mother gave me the advice to at least check them out since my aunt had nothing but great things to say about them. I figured why not at least go look and guess where I bought my Sonata, from Bob Mayberry. I left the dealership without a single drop of regret or worry. I truly felt like I was being taken care of and cared about; unfortunately that is hard to come by these days. If you need some "southern" hospitality (should be the standard hospitality all over the nation, honestly), at least give Bob Mayberry a chance when looking for a new car. No judgment, no persistent pushing, no uncomfortable situations. Everyone is friendly, willing to help, and they truly make you feel at home. As a young buyer, every decision is a life decision; it will either make you or break you. This decision, was a good one and I thank God for putting Bob Mayberry in my search for a new vehicle; couldn't be happier. Frankly, I'm ecstatic. More
Sugar Coated Sales Tactics. Just recently bought a 2014 F150 from Bob Mayberry. After the test drive it was time to talk numbers as usual but it was a one sided deal from the start. They first off wouldn't budge on the price of the "used" truck. Then when it was time to make me an offer on my trade which was a 2002 Lincoln Navigator with 165,000 miles. They brought me an offer of $1,000....yeah $1,000, what a slap in the face as a customer. I had just been offered $3000 for it 3 months earlier with 1000 less miles on it by a dealership in Huntersville. You can't hardly find an old beater car these days for $1000 but yet they had the nerve to waste my time with a pitiful offer like that. Not only that but if I hadn't of asked for the Carfax on the truck then I'd have never known it was wrecked earlier this year cause they surely weren't gonna bring it up. They finally offered me $2000 on the navigator after they acted like they "pulled some strings" to get the money. It needed a few thing fixed on it so I agreed to the offer. The guy responsible for setting up the contract kept whining about needing to be gone by 5pm cause he had to go look at a house to buy...no offense but tell your realtor to push the home viewing back another 30 minutes, i actually read my contracts before i sign them. They finally got my interest rate low enough to where my payments were where I needed them and then I asked about putting an underbody tow hitch on the truck and they agreed they would do it and even wrote out a receipt for it and they told me we will call you Friday and let you know when you can bring it in to be installed. Friday comes and no call, Saturday comes and no call, and by Monday at 1pm I still have no call on when I can bring it in to be installed so I call and state my problem and I'm transfered to the service managers phone and have to end up leaving a voicemail. By 4 hours later I still have yet to get my phone call returned by the sales manager so I drive to the dealership to find out what the hold up is and they tell me "The hitch is ready to be installed, when would you like to have it put on"? "Seriously"? These clowns have one thing on there mind and it ain't returning customers...its just money and meeting quotas by the end of the month so they can keep there job. Needless to say I won't be going back to Bob Mayberry. More
