We purchased a countrymen-s all4 last december, we bought the extended warranty also. The dealership told us to allways have them service the car even thought we live over 100 miles north of them in Buellton the extended warranty also. We sent it in a couple of weeks ago for service and recalls, one of the issuse's was the sunvisors which they replaced which now is lose and rattles worse then it not opening properly, but the big issuse is the the vacuum pump (which of course is not under warranty) they said the sensor was broken but i would have to replace replace the hole vacuum pump of a cost of $700.00 plus dollars! I told them I was not getting any kind of codes on the dash about it so they told me it was not a big deal! The problem is the vacuum pump runs the breaking systems!!!! unknow of this my wife and daughter set off 4 days later to San diego. About 200 miles from our home on the I-5 freeway the breaks went out!! They took it in to Mini of San Diego and they replaced the pump, they even set a driver back to LA to pick it up so they could have it fixed the next day! Need-less to say it should have never left Bob Smith Mini like it was! Good thing my wife know how to drive and stop without breaks. And its a really good thing there wasn't an accident and nobody got hurt! I hope this gets back to Mini USA and Bob Smith mini! More
I ordered a 2013 MINI Cooper Countryman S for my son, Sean, approximately six weeks ago at Bob Smith MINI with Kirsten Lobetta. I want to share how sincerely wonderful our experience was with her. My 27 year old son, Sean, has some fairly significant learning disabilities and is very slow to trust and feel comfortable in new situations. He thoroughly enjoyed customizing his own car with Kirsten’s help. Because of the online reviews we had read about Kirsten, we went in and asked specifically for her. After just one visit, my son told me that we really “trusts” her and that he would like to work with her to order his car. So after a couple of test drives, lots of questions and some very expertise guidance, we were able to finalize the options for Sean's 2013 Countryman S. So why did we order Sean's Countryman from Bob Smith MINI? Kirsten Lobetta… period, end of sentence! First impressions in any business are so very important. Not only is she insanely knowledgeable with respect to the product she is selling, she is NOT PUSHY and after working with her the first time, we left feeling that she valued our business and that she felt we were serious about purchasing a car. I know that the standard practice in this industry is to push the sales staff to get contact information and to encourage them to reach out multiple times to try to get a sale. Kirsten did not push us and I suspect that she does not pressure other customers based on the reviews I have read. This is a model that must work well, as she seems to be the busiest salesperson on the floor. In our specific situation, this philosophy was perfect and helped Sean feel comfortable from the very first handshake to the last hug. On a more personal note, she made Sean feel important. She looked at him and answered every single one of his questions, sometimes more than once. She covered each option with him carefully, making sure that he understood before moving on to the next option. I know this sale required so much more of her time, but the TLC she had for Sean meant so much to both of us. So many times, professionals do not take Sean seriously and brush him off. So why did we buy Sean's Countryman from Bob Smith MINI? Because they have an amazing sales associate, Kirsten Lobetta. We absolutely recommend Kirsten Lobetta at Bob Smith MINI to anyone who is looking to order their MINI Cooper. More

I just purchased a 2013 MINI Countryman All4 from Bob Smith over the weekend and I not only love the car, but had a great experience at the dealer. Richard Lloyd took a lot of time to show me the different options on the car and test drove with me twice. He was incredibly thorough and super nice (and patient!). Then it came to deal-making and I have to say, it was relatively painless. Eddie Ahmadie finalized the deal and the paperwork was processed and I was in my new car a few hours later. It would have been quicker but they were exceptionally busy that day selling a lot of cars - good for them! I have many friends who have BMW's from Bob Smith and I am confident that I will continue to have a good experience with this dealer. Definitely ask for Richard if you want to check out the MINI and know that you are in good hands if you end up making a deal with Eddie! More

Our experiance at Bob Smith has been wonderfull, Sue & Megan in the Mini Service Department always meets us with a smile,have been so helpfull and friendly every time we come in to have service done or & Megan in the Mini Service Department always meets us with a smile,have been so helpfull and friendly every time we come in to have service done or need questions answered. We are in and out in record time, better than any dealership we have ever had to deal with. We have moved to Lake Havasu City Arizona and will not take our car anywhere else if at all possible, we make the trip to Bob Smith in Ca. The only thing is we are on Social Security and the prices are a little to high for us, and would really like to have Senior Discounts made avalible. Jan Kramer More
I can't believe how rude Sue was when we went in there the other day. We ask about a renter car and she gave me attitude that they don't rent car they only loan them.
