From the time we stepped foot on the lot everyone was was so inviting and hopeful. We felt very comfortable and our sales associate Monty Duke was awesome. Took my Vette in for Brakes. Only 38,000 miles on the car and there was no evidence that I needed brakes (noise or service warnings, etc.)I had them done as a maintenance thing only. The next day the Brake s and there was no evidence that I needed brakes (noise or service warnings, etc.)I had them done as a maintenance thing only. The next day the Brake service needed warnings in car (3 of them all related to the braking system)reported needing service. Took the car back and at the end of the was told a breaking part broke and the cost of the new part would be 900. MY PROBLEM IS, THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR WHEN I TOOK IT IN. NO SERVICE WARNING HAD EVER COME ON BEFORE THE CAR WENT IN. THE PART OF THE CAR THAT BROKE JUST HAPPENED TO BE RELATED TO THE BRAKES WHILE THE BRAKES WERE BEING REPLACED. give me a break! I AM TO BELIEVE THERE WAS NOT A MECHANIC ERROR INVOLVED. Please...it when in fine and came out broke!!! The service rep. Rose is very nice and has tried to work with us. However, her manager apparently will not allow her to discount the part. AT FIRST I WAS NOT WILLING TO PAY ONE DIME TOWARDS THIS PART AS I FULLY BELIEVE IT HAPPENED WHILE THE BRAKES WERE BEING DONE. UNFORTUNATELY, IT HAS BEEN A WEEK AND I AM WILLING TO SPLIT THE COST WITH THE DEALERSHIP IN ORDER FOR THIS THING TO BE DONE. SHAME ON YOU...ROSE'S BOSS!!!!! There is principle involved here!!! I had to tow my car in which wouldn't start. Jim got me into the computer system so when my car arrived they'd have all of my contact info. My car is older and I was concerned that it would be an expensiv into the computer system so when my car arrived they'd have all of my contact info. Jaime did a great job fixing my car, it was definitely not as bad as I thought and I appreciated Eric's help when I picked up the car. Thanks! More
