If it wasn’t for the finance guy, I’d give you guys 1 star. Sales guy was ok. They didn’t work with me like they had me believing they would. star. Sales guy was ok. They didn’t work with me like they had me believing they would. More

I've used Bob Tomes to purchase 2 previous cars, an Edge and an F-150. Both purchases were good experiences, so my husband and I returned to look for and purchase a third vehicle from them. Not only did we and an F-150. Both purchases were good experiences, so my husband and I returned to look for and purchase a third vehicle from them. Not only did we not purchase from them, we will not be returning to Bob Tomes again. Their parking lot is a nightmare. It's so crowded with Amazon trucks, random other vehicles, and new vehicles. It's very hard to enjoy looking for a car when you can barely open a door to look the interior over. Their sales people are nothing like what we'd experienced previously. We felt they were disrespectful, calling my husband "my man" the entire time and being quite pushy. After we test drove a Bronco Sport, we told the salesman we had some thinking to do. He wouldn't let us leave until he went inside to tell his sales manager what we said. We couldn't get out of the parking lot fast enough. Sorry to say that we will not be returning to Bob Tomes. I don't know what has changed there, but it's not a good change. We ended up purchasing a Mach E from AutoNation in Frisco. Well worth the extra drive! More
I've got a 2021 F250 Diesel that had a small oil leak from the factory. I got online and set up an appointment. I show up and guess what, they don't have the appointment in their system. No big deal, t from the factory. I got online and set up an appointment. I show up and guess what, they don't have the appointment in their system. No big deal, they sign me in and they take the truck. No loaners available. II get no update so I have to call them 4 days later to get an update, They said it was a seal at the Turbo. Interesting since the leak was up front. I'm not convinced they even looked at it. They had it for two weeks. I get it back, same problem. I take it back a few weeks later to get the same problem fixed and they still have it. This is the end of the third week this time around. When you call up there your lucky to get someone on the phone. You generally have to leave a message. Your even luckier if they call you back. So here I am making payment's on the truck that I don't even have for almost two months. What has happened to customer service? In fairness, I got a call from the service representative two days ago and he admitted they dropped the ball. Said he would get it taken care of. Hopefully they do but I have my doubt's. Regardless, I am without a truck, no loaner and no hope in the future for a resolution. DON'T TAKE YOUT VEHICLE TO THEM FOR SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! More
Very disappointed with this dealership this is the second time i ve made an appoinenr to get my oil changed and when i show up they tell me its gonns be a 3 hour wait. What is the purpose of making an appoin time i ve made an appoinenr to get my oil changed and when i show up they tell me its gonns be a 3 hour wait. What is the purpose of making an appointment the service department is the worst i ve ever seen at any dealership and after today i will take my business elsewhere and wouldn t recommend this place to anyone More
Scheduled an appointment for a recall two days ago, and the dealer confirmed parts were in stock. Today was the earliest available appointment. Arrived at 7:00AM this morning to leave the car for repair the dealer confirmed parts were in stock. Today was the earliest available appointment. Arrived at 7:00AM this morning to leave the car for repair and was informed they no longer had the parts, and we should "try again" after Thanksgiving! When they take the appointments, they should hold the parts required. And then to suggest that the same fiasco may happen each time we try to get the recall addressed is inexcusable. Based on my apparently unrealistic expectation that confirmation they had the part, and a scheduled appointment, meant I could anticipate the repair would be performed. I spent 4 hours driving to retrieve the car from my daughter who is away at school only to be informed they no longer had the part. If they could at least have called last night, it would have saved much of the inconvenience. More
Honestly my wife and I came to Bob Tomes ford as a last resort. I have been doing business with North Central Ford for 10+ years. But when North Central couldn't even be bothered to follow up with me after resort. I have been doing business with North Central Ford for 10+ years. But when North Central couldn't even be bothered to follow up with me after finding out we were looking we came to Bob Tomes. Our sales guy Carlos was absolutely fantastic. He was an amazing sales person. We traded in our F150 and our escape to get a vehicle with a lower payment. We went with a 2017 Chevy Equinox. It was a nice little Car with a much better payment. But a week after we got the vehicle we started having issues with it. It would just randomly die on us while driving. Which is extremely dangerous! We contacted the dealership and brought it up there. We were informed that they were not able to repair it cause the did not have any certified GM techs and we would have to take it over to the GM dealership down the road. And I have to take a shuttle home. I live about 30 mins away from the dealership plus I still had a job I needed to do and no one could tell me how long the would have the vehicle. Bob Tomes was nice enough to give me a loaner so I could still do my day to day tasks. After about a week we heard the problem was something to do with a censor and the battery was extremely corroded and was causing electrical issues. And it would be about $600 for the repairs even though I did purchase the warranty. After telling them I wasn't paying that the agreed to do the repairs due to me having the car for less than 30 days and having a warranty. After not have the car for about 18 days and 2 different loaner cars we finally got our car back just for the problems to be back 1 day later. We took the car back to the dealership ship yet again to get it fixed. After getting another loaner and dropping off the car we headed home. They still have our vehicle. We have owned our new car for about 38 days. 8 of those days we have actually had the vehicle. It has been in the shop for a month now. And we have been in and out of maybe 5-6 loner cars. I honestly should have just sucked it up and found a different sales person at North Central Ford. This has honestly been a horrible experience for my first time buying from Bob Tomes. We wanted out of that Chevy and they told us there is nothing they can do. So I guess we are just stuck with a problematic and dangerous car. I DO NOT recommend Bob Tomes for anyone buying. As I am writing this review I am still without the vehicle I purchased. And probably will be stuck with a faulty dangerous car when I eventually do get it back. Don't waste your time. Go to North Central. 10/14/22 update on our situation. At the end of august. Around 8/20 we were contacted by someone who said they would do absolutely everything to get us into a much better situation. That was a lie. For the first couple weeks talking to this guy he told me things like "don't worry. We are going to get this taken care of" and "I will personally make sure I make this right". And at first it really seemed like he cared about our situation and what we were going through. And how he would make sure to get something done within 30 days so we didn't have to pull our credit reports for a 5th time. But after about a week and a half to 2 weeks he just stopped contacting me. On 9/19 I contacted him to see where we were at and got the same usual response. Still looking for a car that fits and will have to pull credit yet again to get approved. Then again no word from him till I finally reached out again on 10/11 and asked how I could just get rid of the car. I was informed that it would go under as a repossession for the vehicle and that was the only way. This dealership has done nothing to actually fix a problem that should not have been a problem to begin with. The only times I have really been contacted by them is to take my reviews down. More
