So buying a Honda was not actually supposed to happen for me. I almost always go with my first desire when buying an auto. I have for some time wanted a SUV, and this is where my first desire fell short when I viewed the Toyota SUV. Believe me I would have bought their SUV except for that stupid idea of storing the spare tire on the rear door. Having anything on the outside of a vehicle simply invites attention from a thief. This was a "major drawback" for me, and if ultimately cost Toyota the sell of one of their vehicles. My Honda CRV gave me "almost" everything I wanted, plus Craig ( the Honda Sales Associate ) was On Top of His Game. He covered every base with me during the purchase process, and he easily "avoided" the one deadly sin most auto sales associates make. I HATE BEING "PRESSURED" INTO MAKING A DECISION ABOUT ANYTHING... I was "actually surprised" at how he avoided making that mistake. He simply said; "What do I have to do to get you into a Honda?" And the rest is history. I now own my first foreign car ( I didn't even consider purchasing a vehicle from America's Big 3 auto makers this time. Honda gave me what I wanted; a stylish SUV, no spare tire on the outside, and sales associate who understands that "pressure sales tactics" no longer work. More
Sue Doyle our sales person was very knowlegeable, efficient and helpful at the time of sale. Just recently I locked my keys in my car in Illinois on my lunch hour. I knew you could have a key made efficient and helpful at the time of sale. Just recently I locked my keys in my car in Illinois on my lunch hour. I knew you could have a key made from the key code if you knew the number. Sue had informed me of this when we purchased our 2009 Honda. I called the closest IL dealer to see if they could look up the key code. Had trouble getting to the right person. I knew I was running out of time on my lunch hour so I decided to call Sue Doyle. Left her a voice message and she got back to me immediately with the key code #. Called the Illinois Honda Dealer they had me a key in 15 minutes. A coworker from my work picked me up & took me to the Illinois Honda Dealer ( Meyer Honda). Got my new key. Coworker took me to my car and I drove back to work. The Illinois Honda dealer was very nice and did get me a key in a short amount of time. However, it was Sue who saved the day by getting me the key code number! Found the financial personnel helpful and not overly agressive in attmepting to secure additional sales items. Everyone at the dealership, from the receptionist to the salesperson (Sue Doyle) to the financial officer (Bill Cross) to be extraordinarly courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. While I do not feel as though I made a bad deal on the car from a financial perspective, I rated Price a 4 (Good) because I have never left a new car deal (I have conducted 8 such purchases) feeling that I got the best price available. I nonetheless feel that I received a good price on the vehicle. As importantly, I did not feel as though I had been taken advantage by anyone during the deal process. More

Rick is the BEST car sales person I have ever dealt with (7th car purchase). He was very friendly, straight forward and NEVER PUSHY! He let us think about our purchase without any pressure!
