Sead got me a unbelievable deal on my trade in for the brand new 2017.5 Murano, this is by far the best dealership and sales team I've ever dealt with. Worst car buying experience ever My wife and I had purchased our last 4 vehicles from St. Charles Nissan, and wanted to buy our 5th from them, but the NV 3500 we bought is considered My wife and I had purchased our last 4 vehicles from St. Charles Nissan, and wanted to buy our 5th from them, but the NV 3500 we bought is considered a Nissan commercial vehicle and Bommarito is the only authorized dealer in the St. Louis area to buy this specific model. If I ever have this issue again I will drive to KC or Chicago before buying from Bommarito again. First, DO NOT go in thinking the sales prices on their website are a number they will actually sell you the vehicle for. I went in thinking we were going to be able to get the truck for a certain price and then found out that if you read the ridiculous amount of fine print on the website that NOBODY would actually qualify for that price. Final sale price ended up nearly $3,000 higher than the "internet sales price." Finally get through that, and then the sales manager gives me an offer for my trade in that was $6,000 below blue book, NADA, or Edmunds.com pricing. When I called them on it and told them no he suddenly realized that he had forgotten some options on my trade and had run it as a 2 wheel drive instead of a 4 wheel drive. We got closer to what our trade was actually worth, but still got completely screwed on the trade. I should have walked away but really needed the larger vehicle and didn't want to go out of town to get one. Once we finally had an agreement in place that I could live with, I waited forever for finance to get the paperwork signed. Got into the finance office and they put loan agreement in front of me with an asinine interest rate. He insisted it was the best rate he could get me and gave me a list of all the reasons I didn't qualify for a better rate. I have a credit score over 800 and was putting a decent amount down in trade, and he couldn't do any better? I called my bank this morning (Monday, we bought the truck on Friday evening) and they literally laughed at the deal and I already started the paperwork to refinance the truck at nearly 2 points less than what Bommarito got me. Once everything was done in the finance office I expected there would be a vehicle inspection/walk around, but there was nothing. It was dark by the time we were done and the truck was sitting in the parking lot with very little light to see anything. On a side note, at St. Charles Nissan if you take delivery after dark they do the vehicle inspection in a brightly lit service bay entrance so you can see the car and find and note any issues before you leave. The salesman at Bommarito told me that if we got home and found anything to let him know and they would get it recleaned or corrected. Did we ever find things. Factory protective plastic was still attached to the seats, black handprints on the roof liner in the passenger area, adhesive from tape on the quarter panels, some sort of white protective coating on the wheels, a scratch that runs the entire length of the passenger side of the vehicle, and grease on the cargo area carpet. I have called multiple times now to make arrangements to bring it back in to be cleaned and to get the scratch polished out, and surprise, no return phone call. I guess I am just going to have to reclean the entire vehicle myself to get all the packing tape residue and grease off of it, but I am concerned about the scratch. I am starting to think they are going to say we scratched after leaving the lot, which is not the case, but it didn't get documented at the lot so I am probably screwed. No not buy from this dealer if you can avoid it. Go to St. Charles Nissan where they actually care about their customers. More
