Do what you say you are going to do Good points-Making the deal was the normal couple of hours. Everyone was nice and accommodating. The finance man was thorough. Not so good points-I got the loan through my credit union picked up the check immediately and brought it to dealership first thing Tuesday morning. I was told I delivery of my vehicle would take 2-3 business days once check cleared. I waited to hear but did not receive a phone call. I called my credit union Thursday, check didn’t clear yet. Called dealership, asked what was going on, said they would call back right away. Didn’t. I called 2 hours later and was told still looking into it would be called first thing Friday morning. Friday morning, no phone call. I called my credit union again, check didn’t clear. Called dealership, said they would check and call right back. 3 hours later no call I called again. Said check was deposited either Thursday night or Friday morning. Said the would call first thing Saturday morning to see if check cleared. Saturday morning, no call. I called credit union to verify if check cleared, it did clear. Called dealership told them check cleared and I wanted to pick up my car. Said they would have to check and verify and would call back right away. 3 hours later no call. I called again, said good news check cleared I could pick up my car. It had to be detailed. I asked if 1pm is ok to pick up he said yes between 12:30 and 1. Got to dealership at 12:20. Car wasn’t in garage to detail. I was told it would be about 30 minutes. I had no problem with that. 2 1/2 hours later car was finished. During that time they checked twice to see what was going on. I guess they ran out of a solution to get the tape off of the outside of vehicle. Salesman wales me to my car and I left. I left because I was exhausted after having to be up for work at 1:30am. I did not want to stay any longer but it I thought I would have a walk through inspection and go over everything about my car. That wasn’t offered. I left with my new car Saturday afternoon. Manager called Monday and said he was following up because my salesman was concerned I was waiting so long for the car to get detailed. He asked how everything else went and I mentioned I felt I had to do all of the work and follow up after I signed my paperwork Tuesday which I consider poor customer service. The manager told me for the unsatisfactory service how could he make the situation better and offered me $100-$200 worth of gas cards if I would come back and go over my new car with someone. I said sure I would do it for $200 worth of gas cards and set up to come in the next day Tuesday morning. The manager wasn’t there Tuesday. It the salesman went through the car with me. Said he had to call the manager to find confirm what he offered me to come back in. He handed me $100 worth of fuel cards and I told him he agreed on $200. I was told that was all they had. So, I do not like to be misled and 50% of the time that is how I felt. The transaction in the. Whining was normal and smooth up until I signed my paperwork. Again, staff was nice. I am upset because when you tell me you are going to do something, Do It! More
