Looked for a vehicle fitting acquisition requirements for over two months. No other dealer/seller came close to service and follow up received from Tom Krell. I can only assume that this is because of the talented leadership and the inherent dedication to professionalism by all Bozard Ford employees. My visit on September 28th started with the service department. I live in Jacksonville and previously would take my car to other Jax Ford dealers for routine service and/or warranty work. However, I decided to give Bozard Ford's service department a try even though it is 30 minutes away in St. Augustine. I met with service advisor Alex Vecerkovic. Alex listened astutely to my service concerns and made me feel comfortable that my vehicle was at the right place for work. Stephen Purdy has been my primary point of contact at Bozard since Jan. 2010. Stephen is a very personable and pleasant individual. His product knowledge seems to be without limits. If however, he doesn't know the answer to a question he will personally introduce you to the person who can answer your question. I have visited the dealership several times in the last two and half years for research purposes on trucks, suv's, and other vehicles. Stephen is always courteous and takes the time to help me; even though he knows that I am not "buying today". I never felt pressured or feel like I am a "mark" for him to meet his or the companies goals. He genuinely wants to help you with your specific needs. Without a doubt, one of a consumer's primary concerns when purchasing an automobile is the best price. Did I want Bozard Ford to give me a vehicle? Yes, that would have been wonderful. Unfortunately, this is the real world and that did not happen. However, we were able to reach an agreeable price that was fair to both sides. Stephen Purdy was the reason I decided to drive 30 minutes out of my way for service and to again purchase from Bozard Ford. It was Stephen Purdy who also introduced some very pleasureable and fun people like: George Clark, Frank Lipko, Ed Roberts, and Russell Wright. Additionally, I really enjoyed the banter with General Manager Jeff King and Finance Manager A.J. Miller. I would like to think that my business relationship extends beyond money and facts with the individuals at Bozard. Lastly, I was also made aware that Mike Barfield's health has deteriorated. The one thing that drives me away from car lots are salesmen who shadow you. Jim made the sale because he let me look at the vehicles while he went about his business until I was down to the 2 vehicles salesmen who shadow you. Last Saturday night while having dinner with my brother in law and sister we told them that we were searching for a new truck and they immediately told us that we HAD to call Ricky Goodwin at Bozard. I asked them to text Ricky with our phone number and a few minutes later he called us. We scheduled a visit for the very next day with Ricky at 12:30 and left Bozard with a new Ford F150 truck later that afternoon! We cannot say enough good things about our experience there. Ricky asked us what our needs were and made his best recommendations for us. He was very up front and to the point. No games, no gimmicks, just gave it to us straight. We were upside down in the vehicle we brought in to trade so he suggested exactly what we needed to do to fix that problem. He told us what rebates we would qualify for as well as gave us a great price for our trade in. We felt very comfortable during the whole transaction and are thrilled with our new purchase. We will definetly recommend Ricky and the whole Bozard dealership. We worked with AJ on the financing to come up with the best rate and payment that would be within our budget. AJ took the time to search numerous options until one made sense for us. Both of these gentlemen were friendly, curtious and professional and we walked away as satisfied customers that will be back for our next purchase.
