oil change with appointment I had a 10am appointment for an oil change. Dropped car off at 10am, was told it would take 1 hour. Came back after 1130am, car was still parked out I had a 10am appointment for an oil change. Dropped car off at 10am, was told it would take 1 hour. Came back after 1130am, car was still parked outside and had not been worked on. I talked to management about that. Next day I receive an email stating I had missed my appointment ... ????? I have a feeling our car was just forgotten about. The tech had that "deer in the headlights" look when he saw us walk in and quickly escaped to the back area before we could talk to him. Took less than 15 mins to change oil, check all fluids and rotate tires, I have been told it takes longer than 15 mins to accomplish all that. Poor experience I have been a Huge fan of Bozard Ford for over ten years. My last two experiences at the service department have been abysmal. The most recent exper I have been a Huge fan of Bozard Ford for over ten years. My last two experiences at the service department have been abysmal. The most recent experience at the Quick Lube took 2 hours for a simple oil change (actually 124minutes) and I had an appointment. The staff seemed preoccupied. My service writer seemed overwhelmed while another service writer was on with personal phone calls and the cashier was eating chips and joking around with the mechanics. There was clearly a lack of supervision. After seeing my frustration an older gentlemen got involved and closed out my ticket finally getting me out. The time before I dropped off my truck and was told that in addition to brakes, new battery and an oil change I needed about $1000.00 worth of front end repair. That seemed odd for a 4 year old F350 that had less than 40,000 miles and used only as a highway driver. When I took it to another front end specialist they showed me that everything in the front end was "like new" and needed nothing. My opinion of Bozard has changed. Last week I decided to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee in lieu of an Explorer from another dealer and if I upgrade to a new F 450 in the fall I will probably shop elsewhere. More
