*****Braman-BMW-Electric Nightmare***** Based on my recent experience, I strongly advise caution when considering doing business with any Braman dealerships, particularly if you are in the market for a recent experience, I strongly advise caution when considering doing business with any Braman dealerships, particularly if you are in the market for an electric vehicle. From the beginning of the sales process, I encountered several issues that raised serious concerns about transparency and customer care. My trade-in was significantly undervalued, only to later find it listed with a $10,000 markup. Information provided about the vehicle’s MMR (Manheim Market Report) was misleading, and the overall sales process lacked the honesty and professionalism one would expect from a premium dealership. I was encouraged to lease a BMW i5 that had a visible scratch on the bumper and was told to return later for repairs. More troubling, products and warranties I had explicitly declined were added without my consent. Upon delivery, the vehicle was not cleaned and exhibited immediate mechanical concerns, including faulty windshield wipers, wheel bearing issues, unusual clunking and extreme fan noises during and after DC fast charging sessions (Electrify America - BMW advertised external partner). The (popcorn like sounds) were severe enough to warrant pulling over to let the vehicle cool down. Despite taking the vehicle back to the dealership within two weeks, there was no resolution. After a month of follow-ups and involvement from BMW North America, I was told an exchange of collateral had been approved. However, this too turned out to be misleading — I was later asked to pay over $19,000 plus deposits and fees to move forward in an attempt to lure me into a trade, which is unreasonable in the context of a potentially defective electric vehicle. In such cases, either a buyback or a collateral exchange should be applicable, not a costly trade-in. The vehicle has now been at the dealership for over a month, and service staff have refused to take it to an Electrify America station for the appropriate diagnostic tests. At this point, I am deeply concerned about the safety of this vehicle — not just for myself and my family, but also for the general public. There are ongoing reports of similar issues with the i5 both domestically and abroad, particularly related to overheating and high-voltage battery cooling systems. In conclusion, this experience has left me extremely disappointed in both Braman’s dealership practices and BMW’s handling of EV-related safety concerns. The combination of misleading sales tactics, lack of transparency, and inadequate service response represents a serious breakdown in customer care and corporate accountability. I would not recommend Braman dealerships, and I would strongly advise prospective buyers to conduct thorough research before committing to a BMW electric vehicle or Braman Motor Cars. ***My Braman experiences have been nothing short of deceptions, lies, sales misconduct, lack of integrity and an overall unethical sales culture.*** Sold me a defective vehicle-Unreal!!! https://www.youtube.com/@jaearn3164/shorts More
