On September 14th I had a great experience with Branfon Honda. I had Jon Carter for a Service Advisor, and he was great!!! I told him what I was experiencing and he said to bring the car right down. I came To this dealership with my son who was referred by a mutual friend. (Customer) The person who I approached near the entryway was Matt DeMarco. It was NOT a pleasurable experience.I asked him to be hon a mutual friend. (Customer) The person who I approached near the entryway was Matt DeMarco. It was NOT a pleasurable experience.I asked him to be honest and forthright right from the start. I showed him a picture (From an on line photo from Branfon Honda)of which car we were looking for and how much we we're prepared to spend. My son was also using his 03 Jeep Wrangler Sahara toward a trade in on the Honda he ultimately purchased. Mr. DeMarci talked too fast, was not really listening or avoided listening to what we were trying to say. In short without particularizing, he was annoying, arrogant and very difficult to communicate with. I picked this up within less than 05 minutes after meeting him while waiting for my son to arrive. In Short-He needs to settle down, learn to listen and be totally honest in his communications to customers. As a long time customer service manager and a retired federal mediator for the USPS for the State of Ct, I assure whoever receives this critique, I would NEVER go back to Branfon Honda based on my experience with Mr. DeMarco. I will say, I had an entirely different experience just before we were about to walk out of the dealership. Mr. Greg Michael, Mr. Daniel Vargas and Corrie Branfon weere excellent and essentially "came to the rescue." Had it not been for these gentlemen,we were about to storm out the door to head to the next Honda dealership. Mr. Vargas was exceptional in his communication his demeanor and his overall attitude and personality, a true gentleman and customer service salesperson. He was a pleasure to work with. Corey was also great. Very friendly, understanding and clear. Mr. Michael was also a pleasure to work with. He listened to what we wanted and extended himself to make some phone calls regarding the trade-in. He was a true professional. Each of these three men were excellent. Only because of them did we buy a car and would refer our family or friends to them...This does not go for Mr. DeMarco. I believe Mr. DeMarco needs to get some serious customer service training..start with being truthful and honest. There are too many customers (clients) out there today that do their homework long before they arrive at the dealerships and are intelligent enough to know when someone is giving them the bum's rush or trying to talk overthem. Simple express service, oil change and tire rotation and balance. Service was quick. Randy friendly and informative. Cashier was friendly. Price fine. In about 8:30-8:45 am- out by 10 am. My car required routine maintenance and Brandfon's technician discovered mechanical belts that needed to be replaced. Randy Newton, the service consultant involved, contacted me about this additional problem and then arranged a repair appointment time that fit into my work schedule. Everthing was handled very professionally. In purchasing a car it is not the price alone that matters. Excellent service is critically needed to meet the customer's long term needs. Brandfon Honda definitely takes excellent care of its customers. More
