Thank you for your response. There are really 2 issues. 1. As stated above, I had to replace (cost $1,000) an A/C condenser within 1 week of installation. The dealership that made the 2nd repair stated that if there was no accident (there was not) then it might have occurred when trying to install the condenser. He stated that they can be hard to get in especially since I had previous (4 years ago) front end damage when a UPS truck hit my care while it was parked on a residential street. Issue 2 is that we were charged $144.95 for diagnostics on the engine, even though the recommendation was replacement of the entire engine. The next dealer I took it too found that the axle was leaking and replaced the axle seal. So, unless I replaced the entire engine for $5,000, Brandon Honda was going to charge me for the diagnostics. They did not present the alternative of fixing the axle seal. I understand that I cannot prove that I did not damage the condenser after the repair. However, if I had, then I would have filed an insurance claim with a $250 deductible. I requested of the service manager for the labor to be refunded on the condenser and he would not consider this. Any help you could give in resolving, I would appreciate. I have owned 6 Hondas and have been so happy with sales and services. This is very disappointing.
