I'm "Jack" Bixby, by the way. The service was just fine...helpful...and what was needed/desired. The problem, however, was one I believe I should have been alerted to by Subaru, The service was just fine...helpful...and what was needed/desired. The problem, however, was one I believe I should have been alerted to by Subaru, since many many others have experienced the same computer problem--not adequately recharging the battery in my 17 Outback. After years of a periodic dead battery, a battery replacement that did not solve the problem because it was the car's problem, not the batteries, and finally a third battery and a reprogramed computer...the problem was solved (I HOPE!) It occurred to me that Subaru might have replaced my second, almost new, battery at no, or reduced, cost. More
