First time customer - am liking this dealership alot so far! I recently went to see a used vehicle (2002 Ford Ranger) that the dealership had just taken in on trade. Kevin Panepinto couldn't have been nicer in giving me every bit of information he knew about the vehicle, which was fairly considerable. I felt he was very honest in what he told me without sugar-coating things. After test driving I was undecided but was promised I'd get a full shop report the next business day. I left the dealership very surprised that I was never asked for any kind of down payment to hold the vehicle. Have bought alot of cars in my life, and this was a first. Sure enough the next day I did hear the shop report from Kevin. He told me that the truck needed ball joints (something I wouldn't have known on my own) and that the dealership was already replacing them. That and an oil change (which they also took care of) were all that they saw the truck really needed. All the while they said they'd have no problem if I wanted to take the truck somewhere for an independent inspection. I declined as live out of town and realized there would be a logistics problem, but felt good that Kevin had offered without my having to ask. So, at this point, the vibe I had with Kevin (which I assume reflects the dealership's) was very positive. I offered to come in again to chat more as I was still very interested and thought that's where face to face negotiations would be necessary if I wanted to close on the terms. Since I live and work out of town, Kevin said it really wasn't necessary, that we could cover that over the phone. So, after they had worked with me on the price that I wanted, I really had no problem saying yes! Regarding the paperwork on the sale, there were absolutely no surprises anywhere. No hidden fees, no gotcha's, no xxxxxx business. Everything went exactly as I expected pretty much down to the penny. Kudo's to Brewster Ford! So, the other part of knowing a good dealer from a not so good one is whether they stand behind what they sell. I found a minor issue in the first week of driving that necessitated bringing the truck back (parking brake not engaging) and they got me right in the next day and took care of it for me. I also may or may not need a thermostat replaced but have already been assured that they'll take care of it for me. I don't expect a used vehicle to be perfect but my confidence in Brewster Ford is definitely reassured by this. Between my wife and I, am usually buying some kind of vehicle every two or three years. And now our 4 kids are all either already driving or very soon to be. I will be looking to do alot more business with Brewster Ford in the near future. They seem to be a rare gem amongst car dealers and definitely worth driving a few extra miles to visit! More
Excellent experience at Brewster Ford This was my first time buying a new car and it could not have been a better experience. Right from the get go, Landon and the other staff of Brewster This was my first time buying a new car and it could not have been a better experience. Right from the get go, Landon and the other staff of Brewster Ford were very helpful. I never felt pushed into making a deal and was informed every step of the way. There are a couple of standout things that made me really respect my experience. Firstly, the day after I committed to buying the car and was still going through the paperwork Landon was on his day off. This did not stop him from corresponding with me all day on important information and he worked with his fellow staff members who were at the dealership to get things done. Also, since I am a young adult and unfamiliar with signing contacts and proofing everything, Landon reminded me to read everything I was signing twice and to check all the fine print so that I would not make a mistake or become the victim of an oversight. Once the paperwork was taken care of my car was quickly prepped for me to drive it off the lot. Overall my experience with this dealer was great and my sales representative was on point! More

Specifically: 1) He actually knew the technical details of the vehicle I was interested in. 2) He allowed me to test drive the car for as long as I needed with no pressure. This was an expensive car for a FORD ($50K) and I wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable before purchasing. 3) He knew about all the various rebates and promotions and helped me to attain them. This included X-Plan and Private Cash. Other dealers did not bother to disclose this information which saved me a few thousand dollars 4) Landon answered all of my numerous questions and always returned my calls. 5) Landon helped with the special offer and made sure the car came in quickly. Most customer service is poor today. Most sales people do not know their products and do not really care. Landon actually was useful in the purchase process and is a credit to the Ford brand. More

Not enough sales employees available at dealership, you always have to wait to speak with someone. Employees are not eager to help you. Seemed like everyone was too busy and you were bothering them. Landon was very gracious and helpful with selecting our new truck. We had a 2013 in mind and he gave us 5 that could still be available.
