This was my 3rd visit for service. My first 2 visits were for 20k and 235k servicing, which includes oil change, tire rotation, brake check, and multi-point inspection. Both of these My first 2 visits were for 20k and 235k servicing, which includes oil change, tire rotation, brake check, and multi-point inspection. Both of these services were performed in 2022 and 2023. Both visits were great. They performed the work while I waited, and they had both services completed in the promised time. This last service was for a warranty repair, and they completed that service on-time as well. Compared to 2 other Mazda dealers that I have been to, I am extremely happy with Browning Mazda of Cerritos. They have done everything I have asked them to do in a timely manner, and at the pricing we agreed to before the service was performed. My Service Advisor Temo Hernandez was friendly, helpful, courteous, professional and awesome! The dealership and waiting areas are new, modern, clean and comfortable. These guys are doing everything right......I am duly impressed. I have been a car guy since a teen-ager, and have worked on cars all my life. I am also a Technician, so I know great engineering, great workmanship, and great service when I see it. Thank you Temo and Everyone at Browning Mazda of Cerritos! Keep up the good work, it shows! Do yourself a favor and do not authorize any repairs from the Browning Mazda Auto Status Report without researching the recommended repair costs. Once you do, you will find out that they are marking-up parts the Browning Mazda Auto Status Report without researching the recommended repair costs. Once you do, you will find out that they are marking-up parts and routine repairs beyond reasonable levels. Even routine services like oil changes are overpriced. My advice, If you do take your car here, take the report and have the service done by a reasonably priced shop you trust. More

Exceptional Service I called ahead of time and spoke to the service advisor Temo and he was happy to take my call and put me in for an appointment to have my 2018 Mazda 3 I called ahead of time and spoke to the service advisor Temo and he was happy to take my call and put me in for an appointment to have my 2018 Mazda 3 serviced and have the filters replaced. He was friendly and helpful in explaining what my car needed, how long it would take and provided an accurate estimate for the work. Being local I rode my bike home and around an hour and a half later, I got a text message saying my car was finished and that a driver was being dispatched. I was picked up and dropped back off at the dealership where my car was waiting. It was clean, vacuumed and sounded great. Temo was happy to talk me through all of the work they performed and explain what my car will need during its next service. This is by far the best customer service experience I have ever had at a dealership and I look forward to coming back many times over for all of my vehicles’ needs. More

Not right the first time. Took my CX-9 for brake booster repair. Had to pay out of pocket because Mazda wouldn't offer warranty service for my 2013 like it does for the 2010-2 Took my CX-9 for brake booster repair. Had to pay out of pocket because Mazda wouldn't offer warranty service for my 2013 like it does for the 2010-2012's. Browning service agents were nice, and offered a discount. However, the car was returned to me with problems unresolved. They did replace the brake booster, but apparently didn't really road test my brake system (though the paperwork says they did). On the drive home we felt unsafe as you still had to push the pedal almost to the floor to get the car to stop. Took it back, and the Service Director came out and got immediately involved. He and shop foreman took it for a drive, and decided to drain and refill the brake lines. Work done within an hour. Prompt response was appreciated, but considering that my car was given back to me in an unsafe condition, I am not fully satisfied. Considering the high labor rate charged at the dealership, a simple road test shouldn't be too much to ask. I am 50-50, at best, about returning here for future work. More
