My buying experience in the purchase of a new 2017 HondaCRV When I drove into your Dealership back in August 2017 I was looking for Reed Lallier and had taken a wrong turn. I told that to salesman Harry Barmer who had come out to see if he could assist me. I told him that I had never looked at a honda in my life, and was just browsing any way...at Chevy. He invited me to just look around if I wanted to....since I was there any way and accompanied me without being a nuisance. I had been interested in a Chevy Equinox and he showed me a line of Honda Crvs.....all which were Beautiful !!. I asked if I could see...just look.... at the interiors ....since I really had no intention of buying any time soon. The first one I saw the interior of was a Honda EXL CRV 2017 hybrid in Gunmetal grey....fully loaded with everything that I had wanted in a Chevy Equinox....and more!! I fell in love with that car..it was loaded!! I said that I probably couldn'the afford that model ...and that now that I had seen what all that it came equipped with, it was the only one that I wanted..at that time I was still a bit negative on buying a car now..but..I did Love that Car. He ran my credit , it was approved, things went quickly and I had My Car ..one I hadn't planned on buying...and loved it. Mr Harry Barber is great salesman. It seemed like I was talking to one of my family members during the whole transaction without him being pushy, and that was great because I don't do pushy salesmen very well. I am quite pleased with my buying experience at Bryan Honda and Mr Barber made a great sale without being a nuisance. Being helpful and informative and friendly while still being professional and conducting business goes a long way to making a satisfied customer and a good word of mouth for Bryan Honda Dealership. Okay experience, but certainly not great. We went in certain of wanting a specific vehicle. It's a great car and we are happy with it. The sales person though was very unhelpful and incredibly unprofessional. She didn't seem to know much of anything about the car. And worst, when we would ask a question about it, she most of the time would make up an answer rather than going to find out. Also, she spent a lot if time on Facebook and texting. At one point, she even video called her boyfriend while I was sitting at her desk with her! I was blown away at the lack if professionalism. We had one used car detailed that we considers buying before deciding on going with a new car, and I swear all they did was vacuum it! They gave it to us while still covered in splattered goo all over, melted chocolate through out, and I kid you not, there were even a bag of half eaten M&Ms in the back seat! The manager in charge of the cleaning people said he would have them do it again the next day...okay, fine, but honestly I was shocked at that quality! And why should I have to take time from my schedule to come back 2 days in a row, especially after waiting like 2 hours for what they did do already?! I mean they hadn't even cleaned the windows! And if course, it is par for the course to haggle to get a good deal when buying a new car. She adamantly refused any deals. Once my husband pulled up USAA car buying prices and she and the manager had no other options, her personality changed for the worst! She became very cold, short, and unfriendly because we got a great deal and her commission would be affected by such. I do believe that the dealship as a whole is probably fine to deal with as many of the other sales people who approaches us or passed by seemed quite nice and much more professional. I would definitely just say that if you you there, go armed with knowledge about the car yiu wabt and about your car buying options to ensure a good deal. Of course, that advice goes for any car buying adventure! More
