Crystal Careau - Best Salesperson Ever!!! I live in Syracuse NY and was desperate to get a 2015 Outback. None was available in the Syracuse area, and I sent out inquiries over cars.com. Within an unbelievable five minutes, Crystal Careau from Burlington Subaru sent me an email with the information that she was due to receive the exact car I wanted at her dealership. We completed the transaction by phone and email, and I flew to Vermont to pick up my car the next week. Crystal met me at the airport and we completed the purchase of my car in a couple of hours. The whole process was seamless and quick and Crystal was the most helpful, efficient, and effective salesperson I have ever dealt with in a new car purchase. The ease with which I was able to drive the car back with a temporary VT tag and register it in NY was a process that I wouldn't have believed was possible, so don't let an interstate transaction scare you off! All of the folks at Burlington Subaru were great, and Crystal Careau is the BEST. Plus I got a scenic drive through Vermont and upstate NY! All around one of the most positive car buying experiences ever!! More

Lo e my new outback I purchased a brand new Outback. Got the color and price I wanted. They were very professional. I wanted more for my trade and while they couldn't I purchased a brand new Outback. I wanted more for my trade and while they couldn't accommodate what I wanted they explained clearly why it wasn't possible and I understood. I really appreciated the time they took to explain everything in detail and all the features of the car before I left.. I checked out the dealership in Plattsburgh New York and found them terrible and rude. I live in New York and bought in Vermont. Says a lot! More

So happy with my Subaru experience I went into Burlington Subaru having never drove one before. I explained my needs in a vehicle and Phil knew exactly what I wanted. He had a no pressure attitude and showed me how car buying should be. In the past I've had some bad experiences with sales people pressuring me to buy something I really didn't want and Phil was nothing like that. Phil was very knowledgeable and a down to earth man. I know that no matter what he will be there if I have any questions or concerns. He was very understanding of my needs and did everything he could to accommodate them. I highly recommend Phil and will defiantly see him again when it's time to trade it in. I'm so happy with my Subaru Legacy though it might be a while! More

horrible experience Brought a 3 year old vehicle in for an inspection. They failed it for wear parts that I had recently replaced myself. I brought the vehicle to another garage in the area. Not just a mom and pop shop. They passed it no problem. They are just trying to get a fast buck. I will never recommend this dealership. It's a shame because I love Subarus. I will go out of my way to not do business with these con artists. They give mechanics a bad name. I figured I would be nice and email the dealer before posting on sites like this. They then started the groveling and asking to reinspect the car. Why would I do this? You already proved you have no idea what you are talking about. Do it right the first time and you don't have to worry about repairing your reputation. The counter people were at least nice. More

Fix one problem, create another Year old Subaru Outback Wagon needs a new transmission. Dropped off the car and the woman in service very pleasant. While the repairs were covered under warranty, the car now has a brand new dent/scratch in the passenger's door. Immediate reaction from the dealer, not our problem, read the sign that says not responsible for damage if the car is in the parking lot. Not even an apology. Not the first time the service department has been rude or unaccommodating. Find another dealer to go to! Update: Today the dealer buffed out the scratches, but the door still has a dent. I didn't have a budget or any idea when the purchase would be made. Chris Tetreault was very patient and helpful. I had to test drive cars several times and he was always accommodating and very informative about the special features. It took over 18 months but finally the checks arrived and Chris made sure I had the color I preferred and the add ons I wanted. He was never pushy, he checked in every now and again to check on the process. He's an honest, friendly and very knowledgable salesman. He even booked me for my first service appointment! I would send any one to see Chris about a car. My friend recommended me to him and I am so happy she did. I am very happy with my Subaru! More
