Typical dealer service center I came in with an oil leak on a fairly new car so was assuming it probably wasn't anything serious and either way it would have been under warranty. I came in with an oil leak on a fairly new car so was assuming it probably wasn't anything serious and either way it would have been under warranty. It was clear I was not going to leave there without spending money. Even if it was something as simple as the drain plug wasn't screwed back in correctly still was going to cost me at least $50. Next time I'll take it to my mechanic first and then if it's something that needs serviced under warranty only then will I bring it to the service center at the dealership. I realize it probably works that way at all dealership service centers. More

Be it over the phone, or in person Ann, in the Service Department, gave excellent customer service. Though my Forester has over 212,000 miles she keeps on going. She has hung in through raising four kids, my AmeriCorps year of service, farm life and so many other chores I put her through. Ann, says I may want to consider trading in my 'road dog' :(.
