There are some issues with the service reps. Mine started off good, but I pointed out to him that he was outside the time window he had given me for the service, and he didn’t respond to my tex Mine started off good, but I pointed out to him that he was outside the time window he had given me for the service, and he didn’t respond to my text requests for time updates. I was in a hurry and was going to need to leave if they weren’t done (they weren’t slow, there just wasn’t good communication ). This apparently really upset him, because he didn’t show up to hand my car over to me. He told me the car was done and to wait up from for him. The tech brought the car up, placed the keys in the key box, but no rep came. Eventually I saw the rep walk by and walk off in another direction, so I found someone else to give me my keys, and I left. Not very professional. Also, while I was waiting in the quiet area. we all witnessed a female rep berating her customer for not choosing to have additional work done. It was wildly inappropriate and uncomfortable to listen to. I finally walked over and asked her to please berate her customer outside the quiet area. It was a pretty bizarre scene and everyone who was waiting for service there witnessed it. The check-in team was efficient and processional. More
My husband and I drove two hours to buy a car from this dealership that we’d seen online. While we love the car we got there, our trade-in experience with them was a whole other story. We thought we might receive $3000-$4000 for it based on KBB. However, we were told adamantly that our car could NOT be sold due to its mileage, and would go straight to auction. We eventually were convinced of that, so you can only imagine how angry we became two days later when, lo and behold, our car is now for sale AT CAMALBACK, for $8000 !!!!!, saying that the KBB value is $11,995 but that Camelback is being generous by offering it for only $8000!!! 😱 Are you KIDDING me?!!! (We have screenshots to prove this.) We were flat out lied to several times about this during this process and we ended up being ripped off $2000-$3000!! Being elderly and on a fixed income, we depended on Camelback’s Mission Statement: “Our core values include a strong foundation of honesty, integrity, and ethics demonstrated by our entire team.” Exactly what part of that Mission Statement were we shown?!? None of it! Saying our car was only worth a mere 1/12th of what they are two days later claiming it is worth was outright dishonesty, totally lacking integrity, and unethical! We will NEVER again shop for a vehicle at Camelback, nor will we ever be recommending it to anyone else. In fact, we will tell everyone we know NOT to shop there as they are dishonest. More
