We ended up buying our car at another dealer, but only because that dealer had the color car we wanted. Craig at Camelback Toyota was very friendly and professional and really helped us out. It was a pleasure working with Craig and we actually kind of felt bad buying from another dealer because of how nice he was to work with. The second time I went in to drive a Venza, I had the good fortune to be assigned to Craig. This turned out to be an extra-long car-buying experience (about two months, since I'm living in the mountains for the summer and had to come back and forth) and dealing with Craig was a total pleasure. He's the kind of salesperson who makes you want to give him your business, as opposed to run the other way. Can you imagine looking forward to the inevitable phone calls? He is completely professional and has the unusual asset of a great sense of humor. He is also very knowledgeable and well-spoken. If you ask a question, you get an informed answer. The only reason I gave the dealership an overall 4 is because of another salesperson who apparently took one look at me and decided I wasn't worth the time of day. Maybe he was about to end his workday and meet his girlfriend, but he gave me a bad initial impression. I'm glad I went back. More
Yikes!! That's how I feel about this place! It was ok until the negotiation began. My sales person was very dead set on his own terms and price. When I made an offer of my own he seemed to get angry. After some negotiating we had nearly reached a final price that my sales person was ready to have my sign papers on. I made one last offer on a price I felt comfortable with (which was not some low ball offer- it was $500 less than the price he was ready to have my sign on.) So he got up and walked over to the sales desk (which I was thinking was to talk to them about my offer.) He came back with the keys to my trade in, threw them in my face, told me leave and that if I wanted to accept his offer (which was now two prices higher than the one he was ready to have me sign off on) to call him and then left out the front door to help someone else. I picked up my keys and I as walked to the door not a single employee said a word to me. This was the worst dealership experience I EVER had! I will never set foot on their property again! I wasn't willing to giving them lots of my hard earned money which was met with a lonely walk to door and lots of scathing looks. More
I have had some bad experiences with car dealerships in the past (the worst was Courtesy Chevrolet), but this was definitely a good experience! I went in already knowing what I wanted, I had scouted their available vehicles on the Internet, I knew the Blue Book values... basically I would say if you are well-prepared it will greatly improve your experience. I would highly recommend that you ask for Craig Rusin...he listens to what you are looking for and doesn't waste your time. When it came to financing Tracy Hunt was fabulous! She explained everything I needed to know and I felt comfortable asking her questions. I will definitely be going back to Camelback Toyota for my maintenance of this vehicle and when I'm ready to trade it in. Oh, I almost forgot... they also gave me a fair price for my trade-in. More
Everything was smooth except F&I. Too much time trying to get me to buy add on protections from extended warranties to maintenance. If I was the GM of the dealership I would reduce the high pressur trying to get me to buy add on protections from extended warranties to maintenance. We didn't feel pressured at all and Craig was patient with my questions, listened to what I was looking for and what was important to me and helped me weigh the options. In the end, we got the perfect fit...the right car at the right price...it covered all of the bases we needed it to and he walked us through every step of the process. Only wish I had started my search at Camelback Toyota. But it made me appreciate the level of service Camelback offers from the moment you walk on the lot....no one else comes close. Highly recommend working with Craig Rusin...he knocked it out of the park for Camelback! More

She was so professional and curtious that we felt like we were sitting across the table from her rather then 1600 miles away. She had a 4Runner with low mileage that she knew would be perfect. Unfortunately we procrastinate on our end and consequently that vehicle sold.
