After sitting for 3 1/2 hours, I learned that the collant bypass issue, which was covered by my WARRANTY, could not be fixed because the warranty showed a different mileage than my actual vehicle (warranty s bypass issue, which was covered by my WARRANTY, could not be fixed because the warranty showed a different mileage than my actual vehicle (warranty showed 10,000+ more miles) which was an error on the part of whomever entered the mileage on my original warranty. Since I couldn't wait another 3 hours for this error ON TOYOTA'S fault to be corrected, I had to make another appointment to return for the service. I was also told they couldn't straighten out the mileage error issue before I came back so the coolant bypass issue could be fixed immediately upon return because "the vehicle has to be in the dealership before we can correct the mileage issue" (quoting my service advisor, Cammeron Clark). Is this what you would label "great service?" This customer certainly doesn't. I came in for routine service, they supposedly found an issue with the coolant bypass, however they couldn't/wouldn't fix it because the mileage recorded on the warranty wasn't the same as the car mileage. Will anyone be held accountable for this error in mileage recording?? My suspicion no one will and issues like this for other customers will continue to occur. I will try ONE MORE TIME to have the coolant bypass issue fixed at Camelback Toyota and if the service hasn't improved, I most likely will look for another Toyota dealership. That's unfortunate because I have been a Camelback Toyota customer for many years and until now have had no issues. Because of the nonsense with the incorrect mileage, I'm now wonder if I should trust you when you tell me I have a "coolant bypass issue." Once trust starts to be lost, it's difficult to win back. More
