When I arrived I stood around for 15 minutes waiting for a service manager to approach me. (There was no one around the service area, customer or staff). As a consultant to the automotive service industry I tend to be a little more observant than most customers. Cape Coral Jeep had a great appointment setting process (via phone) including reminders and self to be a little more observant than most customers. Cape Coral Jeep had a great appointment setting process (via phone) including reminders and self check-in. Michael was a great Service Advisor. Their use of mobile tablet Check-In easily saved me 15-20 minutes when dropping my Wrangler off for diagnosis and repair of a Check Engine light. Their service and follow-up communication was prompt (completed within 24 hours). The invoice was exactly what Michael told me it would be. Michael saved my replacement part so he could show me what was wrong with my EGR valve (to show me why the part had to be replaced). Dealer service costs more than aftermarket service (the use of OEM parts drives a lot of that extra cost) - but having factory trained technicians coupled with the OEM diagnostic tools enabled Cape Coral Jeep to fix my vehicle promptly (after an independent shop was unable to). In my assessment, while not perfect, this service operation would rank in the top 10% of Chrysler Jeep dealership auto service operations in the country. They have a very nice, new facility as well. Had a horrible experience. Ryan the service guy not professional and did not communicate the issues at hand. Promised my truck same day. I understand thing happen but they had it for 3 days and failed professional and did not communicate the issues at hand. Promised my truck same day. I understand thing happen but they had it for 3 days and failed to contact me and after 6 attempts to reach out to them I had to take personal time to get a ride there just to find out it would be another day. Then they were very adamant on trying to upsell me on other services. On day 3 they tried to refuse me for a loaner vehicle until I made it clear to everyone in there that their failure in honesty and communication would lead to me not meeting my own business obligations. He finally then approved a rental truck the next day that I had to pick up during hours I was supposed to be at work. When I arrived there was no truck reserved. The lady called Ryan to get another truck approved and he said no. So when I tried to call him, surprisingly he did not answer. So after finally retrieving my truck , after all said and done, my truck is having worse issues then before I brought it in. More
