Overall service was good. My wife and I have been trying to get in contact with Mike in service because we were told that they had to reconnect a ground wire that was disconnected, however this was not list to get in contact with Mike in service because we were told that they had to reconnect a ground wire that was disconnected, however this was not listed on the repair sheet. I am needing this to update my local mechanic about all the service that has been done to our vehicle to update our local mechanic record. Mike said this is something they had done to our vehicle, so we need record of it for our mechanic. My wife and I ordered a brand new Wrangler Sahara. We My wife and I ordered a brand new Wrangler Sahara. We picked it up at night and while driving it home, noticed the steering wheel was not centered My wife and I ordered a brand new Wrangler Sahara. We picked it up at night and while driving it home, noticed the steering wheel was not centered and the jeep was pulling to the right and wandering all over the road. The next morning I called the service number and was told to bring it in right away. When I got there, I was given a service bulletin that says the vehicle needs to "Settle" for 500 miles before they could do anything. That did not make me happy. I felt like I had to prove there was a serious problem. If you held the steering wheel straight, the Jeep would change lanes! This is not acceptable. Finally, they said they checked the alignment and found nothing wrong. Somebody clearly does not know how to do an alignment. If you hold the wheel straight and the jeep changes lanes, there is an obvious problem. As for the wandering, I was told that all jeeps do that. Again, that is not how all jeeps drive. This is my second Jeep Wrangler. After doing a little research I found several videos showing how to center the steering wheel, as well as how to adjust the amount of play in the wheel. Two simple adjustments that would take 5 minutes to do, and nobody wants to touch my jeep for 500 miles. Again, this is ridiculous. I had told them that I was an engineer. I have a rotary lift in my garage at home. I know a little more than the average guy. I had actually been trained on how to do a laser alignment by Hunter on their laser rack. Again, I know this would be an easy fix. If the mechanics do not know how to do it, I would be happy to show them. The drag link has a simple adjustment that will easily center the steering wheel. The steering box also has a very simple adjustment to remove the play from the wheel. I would be happy to show them how to do this if they don't know how. I don't want to do this because it is a brand new vehicle. I paid $65,000 for a jeep that doesn't drive straight. More
