They kept it real To give some background: I am a first time car buyer through a dealership. My previous cars are from family or family assisted through Craigslist. So To give some background: I am a first time car buyer through a dealership. My previous cars are from family or family assisted through Craigslist. So when my 1997 Rav 4 finally kicked the bucket, I wanted a reliable and certified used car, instead of doing the whole sketchy Craigslist thing, especially without a mechanic friend to come with me. So taking my friends' advice to go try cars in the make, style, and type I liked. I had a hodge-podge of an experience. At one set of dealers the salespersons were friendly, and at others I got pigeonholed into what they think I could afford and was shown crap. Being a female too, all the reps second guessed me and tried to avoid me taking a look under the hood or inspecting the trunk for a spare. Having an older car teaches you to appreciate those details. My significant other all the while was helping me take notes, being morale support, my designated man, and researcher. He found a few used Mazda 3s, since the 2017 one I test-drove was what I ended up comparing everything to, at the dealership in San Juan Capistrano, which is down the way from our home. We get there, but they were busy! Which makes sense, because their staff was so nice! Easy to work with, and absolutely pleasant and accommodating! The first person we ran into, Diego, ended up being our rep. Oh man! Diego was a breathe of fresh air after a long day of car hunting (10am to 6pm!). Diego was cordial, polite, never blinked an eye at my need to investigate, and encouraging of a test-drive. Just a down-right cool dude. He was straight forward and transparent with my man's and my questions. I ended up falling in love with the car. The paperwork process was painless, no real haggling was necessary, and the finance team was understanding. My experience is a testament to the importance of transparency and good humans make good sales people. In the end Chris from finance had us rolling, and took care of me with a good deal. All-in-all: I am coming back for service in the future and I could have beer at the end of the day with these dudes. More

Because of this we often get the "3C" delivery; "See the Car, See the Keys, C ya". Not here. AJ took the time to explain everything to me, he made sure I knew how things worked before I left the lot. he made sure I knew I had his cell phone and told me if I had any questions to call him. Kevin in Finance was great, explained all the options to me, made the process as painless as possible. The deal started with Moe who was professional though the whole process. The exact car I wanted was actually sitting in the MV Mall, once we had a deal, he made sure it was back at the dealership when I was able to come pick it up. When I pulled in and saw it sitting there with a "Do not Sell" notice on the windshield, that made my day. I am so happy with this dealership that I will be coming here for service, even though I have other Mazda dealers closer to my home. These 3 sold me on Capo Mazda completely. More

Katrina was super responsive to my first online inquiry regarding a lease on a 2016 CX-9, and we were able to come to terms online before we even went to the dealership. She even took photos of the car and emailed them to me. Once at the dealership, she made the process super efficient because we had our 1yo daughter with us who gets bored easily :) After we brought the car home, I noticed a small ding/dent in the front right fender, so I contacted Katrina and she put me in touch with the service department to take care of the "lot damage" that we hadn't seen when we took delivery. Once I made the appointment and dropped off the car, Fredy in the service department had me in and out in a loaner vehicle within about 10 min. Then, because we live about 40mi from the dealership, he let me keep the loaner car until the following weekend so we wouldn't have to fight LA/OC traffic during the week. Overall, I'm very impressed with this dealership and will probably be a long time customer. More
