He worked tirelessly with me for hours (over multiple days and test drives) to get me a car that fit my budget. Did not pressure me into buying a car at any point and gave me ample amount of time to go home and think. Ultimately, found me a great VW credit program that allowed me to purchase a car at reasonable monthly payments. He remained my single point of contact throughout the buying process and I never had to go through the "let me get my finance manager to get you best rate" game. - Joey - straightforward. Came in to work on the final step - signing the contract. Swift and easy process. Didn't try to sell me anything extra like corrosion/paint protection package or anything of that sort. - Clean and nice atmosphere inside the store. Not too much crowd, no salespeople running around frantically from one customer to another, yelling at each other. - Test drive track around the dealership has slopes, straight, and bendy roads so you can evaluate the vehicle's performance slightly better. - Free popcorn, coffee and cold beverages. Cons: - Miscommunication among salespeople. One car got sold while I was test driving it, the other got sold while Steve was working on my papers because a more potential buyer came into play. Not taking one star off because of that since I ended up getting a car that I'm happier with. More

Great used car, good purchase experience I bought a used car from Steve from Idaho. Steve and his boss were both very helpful on the phone. They made sure the car was at another dealer at the right time to have it checked out for me and their follow through on almost every detail was as expected. I have purchased many cars from as many dealers and not often have I had a more pleasant experience. To be totally honest there was a small problem with the sale that they could have easily resolved and decided to not address at the time of sale and now again weeks later. They only provided one coded key with remote with the vehicle. I asked them if there was another key or if they would be willing to provide one. They flatly said no. Now 3 weeks later the missing key arrived in the mail (good that they did not just toss the key when they found it) but I have already spent over $100 to have one made at the Honda dealer. I told them about this and they ignored the comment. They could have covered the cost and had a perfect report from me (I offered to write a review) but the $100 was more important to them than their unblemished reputation. That cost them a star. BTW - I always give more weight to an honest 4 star review than to a bunch of gushing 5 star reviews. I don't know if I can update this review but if I can I will if they decide to now take care of the key issue. More

Both Steve (Skinner) & Nick (Colucci) went out of their way to help my wife & I acquire a new Volkswagen. They were both (exceedingly) kind, courteous and went "beyond concierge" in their levels of professionalism and care for our transaction. It's really easy for the general public to hate car dealerships & car salespersons: HOW DARE THEY MAKE MONEY?!!??! (Do you give away money in your vocation?). That being said, Steve & Nick were transparent with their pricing and were forthright about details of the transaction. BUY YOUR VOLKSWAGEN FROM STEVE @ CAPISTRANO VOLKSWAGEN!! More
Amazing sales experience, the way car shopping should be! I was in the market for a new 2016 Golf R. No dealer local had one, and the ones further away that did laughed when I asked about test driving. I was I was in the market for a new 2016 Golf R. No dealer local had one, and the ones further away that did laughed when I asked about test driving. I was treated like a moron over the phone by may dealers. I was ready to get out of my Boss 302 Mustang for it, so I understand what it means to have a limited production car and obviously was serious. Then, on a whim, I decided to visit Capistrano VW anyway, even though they had sold the one Golf R that I knew they had a few days earlier. And that is when I met Steve Skinner. He told me that they had just gotten in a red Golf R, it was in the back (still had some of the plastics from delivery on it). He offered me a drink, went and got the car, and said "here it is, want to drive it?" I was surprised, considering the fact that EVERY other dealership treated me like an idiot for asking. Steve proceeded to guide me on a lengthy test drive, explaining all the various drive mode functions. I was SOLD, I fell in love with the car, and was very happy that Steve had taken the time to explain the car thoroughly to me. A few days later, I brought my wife in to look at the car, test fit child seats etc, and they pulled it out of the showroom for her to drive it. Then, we began talking numbers. The process was not hard at all, and we were able to make everything work at comfortable rates and pricing. Additionally, there was no issue with price either. Many dealers are asking and getting a few thousand dollar mark up on these cars due to availability. Capo VW however didn't do that; whatever the MSRP was, that was it. They even gave us more money on the Boss 302 than I was able to find elsewhere. Needless to say, Steve knew we were there, serious, and ready if the numbers worked. They didn't play games and we ended up taking the Golf R home that night! I've LOVED the car more and more since, and am actually looking forward to bringing the car in for it's scheduled 30 day check. Now, Steve Skinner was our salesman, and he was fantastic. But the rest of the staff was top notch as well. So this review goes out to the entire sales staff, management and finance dept.! I have already recommended 3 people for GTI's and Golf R inquiries to go to Capo VW. You will be treated with professional courtesy and walk away with a smile... and a great car! We sure did! More

Mike was very helpful in answering and showing. I left the place decided this will be the place I will buy my VW car. He did his follow up. I set up an appointment to meet him with my husband. I was certain I want a Tiguan 2016, SE white with black interior as my next car. I do not have any complain of the process. Mike is very professional, takes the time to listen and respectful. My husband agreed and complimented the whole customer service of the place was excellent from the time we walk in to the time we drove away with our new car. More
