Within a few moments of stepping on the lot I was greeted by Don. I told him I was looking for a simple 4-door Golf and he showed me what they had on the lot. We talked some finance numbers and he told me a couple figures. They did not have the exact color/trim I wanted so I went home to think it over and check out a few other makes. Don never pressured me and treated me professionally at all times. When we finally agreed on a vehicle he helped me get great financing which made a huge difference on my monthly payment and allowed me to go for the extended warranty. I was very satisfied with my purchase and everyone at Capistrano treated me with respect. Even after I signed all the papers we had a nice chat before I took possession of the car. The finance guy, Brian S, was also a great person to work with and treated me well. I have had the car for a few weeks now and I love it. I can see myself back at Capistrano in a few years buying my next car. More

However, I had many interactions with Don during the purchase of my Beetle, and my car buying experience was actually wonderful! He was attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating and more importantly HONEST... Never pushy or demanding. Capo doesn't feel like a predatory dealership. It feels like a safe place to buy a car. I trust them...never thought I'd ever say that about a car dealership and its employees. I was so impressed with this place, that I drove almost 40 miles just to do business with them. Our daughter purchased a Jetta exactly one year ago to the day, from April Dean. April was so helpful to her that we immediately thought of her when we were ready to purchase a new car. We did not spend a great deal of time looking around because April showed us exactly what we wanted, after viewing a few options. We ended up with a beautiful red beetle (which I had always wanted). Everyone we met at the dealership was friendly and helpful, especially April, and the customer service is excellent. We would not hesitate to return to Capistrano VW in the future. Hi Cory- I left a message on your recorder today regarding my experience this morning with Mike. Unfortunately, I was not able to do the service on my car today after being given incorrect informati regarding my experience this morning with Mike. Unfortunately, I was not able to do the service on my car today after being given incorrect information (which is not the real issue) and the total disregard for customer service by Mr. Hollbrook. This is not the first time I have received substandard service from Mike. I had an issue with my tire last year that resulted in me going to GoodYear to have the tire repaired after Mike would not even inspect it. I do not think Mike represents VW or your dealership in a courteous, professional or interested manner-In fact, his actions reflect an "I could care less" attitude. As I explained on my recorded message to you- I will no londer use your dealership, but as a business owner myself, I though you should know why. I am also going to log these complaints on the VW website as well as Yelp and any other "customer satisfaction" web sites. After two years of terrible customer service, I think something should be done to help Mike either change his attitude, or move on to a job he likes better. Sincerely, Anne McGraw More
