I went through some tough financial times the past couple of years and am finally back on my feet SO I decided to give you guys another try. I had tried selling my Toureg privately (no luck), refinancing which would have been a very bad decision. Then you guys pulled my credit (while I cringed) and low and behold I qualified on my own again for a beautiful car! My overall experience was great and I have to apologize for my boyfriend - he has NO patience whatsoever and really didn't want me to turn in that Toureg cuz he loved it too. BUT I am the one paying the monthly payment and I am the one who has to drive every day on the lovely 5 Northbound to Anaheim so I am the happy one~ Thank you Sherie and welcome to California!! I dread going to lease a new car every time my lease comes due. However my first experience with leasing a Volkswagen (a CC) was extremely painless and astonishingly honest and above board. This was refreshingly in sharp contrast to most all other dealers out there I have dealt with in the past and I have leased every three years over the past 25 years. My last leasing experience prior to Capistrano Volswagen was with Beverly Hills BMW, and surprisingly (or perhaps not so surprisingly) they were very poor on customer service or making you feel like your business was important to them and I was not leasing a bottom tier BMW; I ended up leasing an M3 from them. Quite the contrary with Capistrano Volkswagen -- Don Abadie was exceedingly accommodating without the slightest bit of typical car salesman pressure tactics. I also tested Don because I just knew he could not be as saintly as his actions and words were portraying him...You know the old adage, "if it's too good to be true it's probably not." So when he called me the day after I had picked out the 2013 CC I wanted and told me I had better get down to the dealership because there was a party negotiating on the very same vehicle I had my heart set upon I thought okay I am going to call his bluff and wait until a little bit later. At that point in my mind his sainthood had immediately been revoked, and I told myself he was just another run of the mill car salesman who roll falsehoods off their tongue as freely as the rest of us unconsciously inhale and exhale some 14,400 times per day. A couple of hours later I called Don to let him know I was on my way over to lease my chosen CC, confident that the competitive buyer was phantom, of course. I smugly told Don, "I'll be over in about a half-hour to lease that car. Pleas make sure the it has been cleaned up and is ready for me because I don't have a lot of time to mess around there at your place. I need to get in and out." When his next words were, "Toby, it's gone. I told you what was going on and to get down here right away so we could try and do the deal before the other people." Well my jaw pretty much hit the floor so to speak. In my opinion Don is A#1 in the trustworthiness department. I'd even believe him if he was telling me about his fishing stories of "the one that got away." It all worked out though tremendously in the end because resourceful Don found me another CC which I like just as well, and it happened to be an incentivized lease special and I now receive a monthly lease invoice which I have been more than happy to pay. More

I leased a CC from Capo VW a number of years ago and had a great experience, looked at the Touareg three times over the years and finally decided to take the plunge. My husband and I test drove one evening near closing time and Peter assisted us in test driving a Passat and Touareg TDI. He stayed with us past closing and never made us feel rushed, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I really wanted a Touareg Lux TDI with the pano sunroof and noticed late that night their inventory was updated and they had exactly what I wanted. Although Peter was willing to look at other dealerships I only wanted to deal with Capo VW because of their reputation and my experience over the years. So when the exact model came in I called early the next morning and Peter located the vehicle, I went straight in. Since Peter was busy with another customer, the sales manager didn't want me to wait but asked me if it was okay if another sales person assisted me, so here enters Buddy. The same nice gentleman that welcomed me at the door and brought me some water. The entire process was seamless, efficient and easy. Being I ran all sorts of financial scenarios I was prepared for what finance would come back with and there was nothing but honestly in the numbers based on the scenarios I asked them for. In my business honestly and integrity is crucial and I expect that from who I buy and work with. Capo VW exemplifies this for an auto dealership. I have worked with other car dealerships and I am impressed with how Capo VW is managed and how it selects and trains it's employees. As for my delivery, Buddy was extensive in his knowledge and went over everything with me, said we're family now so if you need anything call me anytime and I'll walk you through any questions you have on your car.
