Why am I so glad I boldly walked into Capistrano VW? Because when I gathered the courage to venture on to a car lot by myself I thought I was preparing for a battle and instead I met Steve Skinner. He immediately put my fears about what buying a car from a dealer would be like to rest, listened to all of my quirky needs in a vehicle and then proceeded to help me get an ideal car. I thought I would have to buy a used vehicle but thanks to Steve knowing all the ins and outs of car buying he was able to help me realize that I could buy a brand new car for a basically comporable price to a used vehicle. I was shocked and so happy (once the shock wore off). I am now the very, very happy owner of a beautiful and spunky Tiguan. I am looking forward to a longterm relationship with Steve and this dealership. I feel like I've struck gold. Moe went out of his way to accommodate my every request and did an outstanding job.Moe displayed all the characteristics that I preach to my sales staff about putting the customers needs above all else and and did an outstanding job.Moe displayed all the characteristics that I preach to my sales staff about putting the customers needs above all else and following through on all commitments.I purchased the car sight unseen because I live on the east coast about 50 miles south of Boston, MA. and Moe secured a shipping company for me that was fantastic.They picked the car up in a timely fashion, and they were in constant contact with me with updates as to when it would be delivered.The shipping company also called me after the car was delivered to make sure I was happy, and to make sure I did not notice any damage after I washed the car(lots of salt and dirt from the cross country trip which I expected).Having dealt with other not so good shipping companies, I was duly impressed with their attention to detail.I will certainly be using them again in the future.As for the car,once again it was exactly as Moe described and the inside was showroom new.I am a very picky,detail orientated person and the car passed my inspection with flying colors.Once I had it cleaned up,it was exactly what I expected per Moe's descriptions right down to every detail we discussed.I am extremely pleased with the car and everyone at Capistrano VW.The Finance department did and outstanding job also, so I would like to recognize Cecile and Kevin for answering my questions related to that part of the sale.The paperwork was mailed overnight and was correct in every aspect.The process was smooth and seamless throughout.I also was assisted by Barbara in the office who called me immediately when I was having difficulty registering the vehicle at the MA DMV.This was not their fault(Capistrano VW), as MA requires different paperwork for registration than CA but we managed to get it all straightened out.I am very pleased with the whole transaction and attention to detail by everyone involved.It it my goal to relocate to Southern CA in the near future,so I will certainly stop in to thank them personally. I have been lucky enough to drive many nice cars, but I have to say that this car is right up there with the best of them.It handles like true German sports car,looks fantastic(very sporty),has great power and still gets tremendous fuel mileage(just hit 40.3 MPG).Outstanding!!
