Capo VW is the only place I go to for service. They are always truthful about what my car does or does not need done. They never try to upsell me on a service that I do not need, and they are never trying always truthful about what my car does or does not need done. They never try to upsell me on a service that I do not need, and they are never trying to convince me to trade in my car for a newer model when I am waiting for the work to be done. I have had nothing but good feelings when I walk into the service department. The men are easy to talk to and break things down into simpler terms for me, I adore these servicemen, thank you Capo VW!! More
Everything was great until I received this rebate from VW that should have applied to my last service visitin January 2012. Neither Greg, nor Cory nor Miles have responded to my correpondence. Everyone there is really nice. My salesman was great when I bought the car. My service advisor was really nice and very informative when I got my oil changed today. We dad a very good experience when buying our new 2011 VW Jetta SportWagon TDI at Capistrano Volkswagon. We met The General Manager Gary Willenborg at a Car Show last weekend in San Clemente Ca., they were Jetta SportWagon TDI at Capistrano Volkswagon. We met The General Manager Gary Willenborg at a Car Show last weekend in San Clemente Ca., they were the sponsor of the event. Were were so impressed with the way Gary presented the VW and particlarly the TDI Jetta Sportwagon. My huband and I went in the dealorship the next day and ordered our own TDI Wagon. Gary introduced us to Buddy one of his top salesman and the deals was done in a very short time. Buddy had to find the exact car with all of the bells and whistles that we wanted and that just took a few days. Just a week after meeting our new best friend Gary Willenborg at the Car Show, we are driving a great TDI Wagon of our own. O ya, we checked around at the prices at other VW dealers and we saved a gread deal of $$$$$. More

IT TOOK 24 HRS FOR A CALL TO INFORM ME OF THE 2ND ESTIMATE AS THE 1ST ESTIMATE WAS NOT VALID WITH ALL THE NEW PROBLEMS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. More
You tell me if you had ordered a part for something back on November 15th they stressed 2 wks, so you paid for it and now going on 8 wks still have no phone call? Is that customer service. You have your battery looked at they break the top lid covering so it starts melting onto my engine? Worst I pay for Replacement of collant reservoir which cost $270.00 excluding tax...but whats interesting is that when my battery lid breaks it's interesting that all my fluid caps are open too. They were never closed properly (all of them)? My part that was ordered was a base to a seatbelt. This was not working properly and when the dealership quoted me $480.00 to fix it I of course declined. We are talking about just the connection part not the material that binds around the body. They never put the plastic back on the seatbelt. It has now ripped my leather seat terribly and the center cosile. If you are a female young-middle age- or elderly I would avoid this dealership. I would be curious to see just how many of there complaints or no follow-up behavior is with women. I have submitted a complaint to the BBB that is just how horrible my last 2 visits with this dealership have been. Even booking my appointments ahead of time they are either never put in the book, or there has not been enough time alotted. Again if you are a female I would avoid this dealership. They do not treat everyone as an equal, and I am now spending the hours to prove it on paper. It's really sad that this is an actual certified Volkswagen Dealership. SAVE STRESS AVOID CAPO VW More
Capistrano VW is by far the best dealership in Southern California. Their family atmosphere and friendly associates make visiting this dealership a pleasure. I love the fact that they have VW rental cars on site and you don't have to go through the Enterprise rental car BS when you take your car in for service... I would definitely recommend Capo VW for sales and service. In sales Buddy is the man and in service Ken is the man.. Thank you Capistrano VW for being sooo awesome !!!! If it were not for you Capo VW, I wouldn’t own a VW product. More
No one at the dealership answers the phone including the receptionist. The one time I did get through to the front desk, it was shortly after 4:00pm to check on my car, Michelle answered, she was very rude receptionist. The one time I did get through to the front desk, it was shortly after 4:00pm to check on my car, Michelle answered, she was very rude and spoke with a bad attitude. I simply asked for Brent (whom I was dealing with in service) she said "He's in the meeting just like everybody else!" When I finally did get through I was put on hold and told that they were checking the status on my car. I held for 25 minutes and when Brent got on the phone he had no idea what I was holding for. There is a general feeling of UNfriendliness in the service dept. Brents body language indicated he was unhappy and acted as if I was a waste of his time. I needed a couple of things looked at on my car one of which was an oil leak. Brent stated that the techs couldn’t see a leak because there was mud/dirt under the car. I wonder if they had cleaned the dirt off if they could have found the leak. In my opinion an oil leak is very serious and could cause serious engine damage. I have yet to pick-up my car and hope for better treatment. Horrible customer service at this dealership. I will NOT return and will NOT recommend. More
