When I went out there, it was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had in my 30 plus years of buying cars. There was no hassle and no crap. I got the best deal I could find anywhere and I didn't have to spend all afternoon in their dealership haggling to get it. I thought maybe it was just an end of the model year clearance, but after I bought my car I checked about a month later and they were still had cars advertised for the price that I bought mine for! You can't go wrong with them. Lisa Reynolds will treat you fairly and I don't think you will find a better deal on a new Ford anywhere. More

Came in to buy a new Ford F-150, they had the color of my choice with the package I wanted. This business is NOT customer friendly. All they care about is their commission. I wish I had read abaout them before I purchased a vehicle from them. This dealership has some very shady financing. I had a deal pretty much worked out on a truck, and then came the financing part. They tried showing me all these printouts and saying it was impossible. He then told me he could "help me out" and get me down to 6.79%. I told him that would not work, and left. I went home and got pre-approved for 4.5% for 72 months on that same truck, but didn't go buy it just because of the way their sales manager and finance guy acted. Very unprofessional and would not recommend them to anyone. Especially for financing. More

Unethical business practices: My elderly father (79 years old) suffered a massive stroke early this year which left him somewhat cognitively impaired. A salesman on the lot sold my father a brand new Ford F150 with only his Social Security check as income. He can not live on this income. His children help support him. This salesman at Cloninger Ford took full advantage of my father's handicap. I have spoken with an attorney and the magistrate and, have been told with matters involving new vehicles - where as there is immediate depreciation - there is nothing that can be done. The sales manager will not return my numerous calls. Most of our elderly parents/grandparents are as innocent as children. Larry Cloninger and his associates/salesmen appear to be no different than the child abusers that lay in waiting for the innocents to walk by. The name Larry Cloninger is applauded throughout Salisbury for his various contributions. However, the character and ethics shown by his dealership lies somewhere beneath pond scum. More
