All around, a pretty pleasant experience! I am from out of town, (2 hours north of Milwaukee) and they accommodated me very well over the phone, and online. The sales people were also extremely pleasant (shout out to Kyla). My windshield (weirdly enough) cracked after I test drove it, and Kyla apologized maybe a little too much, as did the vehicle prep person. I'm just glad it happened there. They set me up immediately with Safelite to repair it and get me a new windshield! Kyla also gave the wife and myself $50 to eat at anyplace! A very nice gesture for something so unpredictable. I did have a mechanical problem shortly after, but Carmax (shout out to Precious) took care of my mechanical issue insanely quick. And being from out of town, they hooked me up with a mechanic right here in my city. Super convenient! Let's be honest, all vehicles are prone to mechanical failure at some point in time. But Carmax lived up to their promise on the 30 day warranty. I would definitely buy from them again. My only regret is going through carvana for my wife's vehicle a year earlier. More

Very accommodating and welcoming staff. Vehicle had different wheels and tires from what was listed on sales sheet and window sticker. Listed 20 inch wheels and it came with 22 inch. The people at the store were great, Alex and Shana were super helpful and friendly. The call center on the other hand made my experience miserable and I will never buy a car from CarMax ever again or rec super helpful and friendly. The amount of people that would get involved after I already had it handled with the store was unbelievable. I was lied too by them, spent WAY too much time explaining things already handled to them and so much more. If it wasn’t for the people in the store I would have gone elsewhere. But moving forward never again BECAUSE of the call center people. You must incentivize them to the point they will harass you to try and get you to do everything through them. If I wanted to buy a Car though caravana I would have but wanted to have human interaction with the spending $35K on a car. Then once I got the car, had to take it back to get the brakes fixed and now if has a service light on and have to take it back once again. Horrible, horrible experience. If I ran your customer service I would fire all the call center people and hire additional humans in the stores. More

I found the car I was interested in online, but at another dealer. I paid the small fee to have it brought to a nearer dealer. I was kept updated as to the expected arrival of the vehicle. We took it for a test drive, and were very impressed as to all the items it came with. We bought the car, and were given guidance as to how basic things worked, and were told to call if we had any questions. The staff were all nice, from the salesperson to the business office. We love our truck, and I would not hesitate to buy from Carmax again. More

In my opinion the manger did not look professional. He appearance was sloppy, for example, his polo was wrinkled. I felt like I knew more about selling a car than he did. I had previously completed almost everything online. Including my trade in. After I inspected the car, the tires did not look good to me. I said something and the young guy assured me that Car Max's policies do not allow them to sell a car unless it is twice the minimum that is allowed. He did not even go look at the tires. I asked if it was possible to switch the tires from my trade in. The sales man said they do not have the equipment to do that. However, I do think their was a full service garage there. So I believe I was lied to. I had a tire blow out 16 days after I bought the car. The tires were over 5 years old and were cracking. This car should not have been sold to me with these tires. More
