Poor management overall! The car arrived in a week or so, but they didn't check it or prep it before showing it to me. The description showed one chip on the paint; there were over 25 scratches and chips, and dings on this one. I took it for one day, just drove it home, and the car started to make a bad sound from the center back of the car while parked in my driveway. I I took it back, they kept it for a week and said there was something loose under the car that made that noise, a week to find it, This car comes with a smart key but they only had one key they used to have two when I bought my last car from them in 2022 and they changed their policy you only know that if they have between 70 pictures picture of one key not two and who would know that means the car come with one key, the key costs me $1000 from Benz dealer because their key company doesn't prove these keys, I asked them to clean the car when I come back to see it again, they did this time, the lady at the business department was professional and nice, the saleman was nice too even though his hands are tied and can't do much to help! its now 30 days since I bought it but I haven't got the registration yet! totally horrible experience without the registration I can't buy a second key I love their extended warranty though More

We bought a 2020 Mercedes a few weeks ago. First of all the day we went to pick out the car was shaky. I had to call our finance company (USAA) and give them the information. We then finally were able to get the car the next day. When we drove it off the lot, it had a strong odor inside like the smell of cat urine. We could not believe it. We did not smell that the day prior when we test drove it, but it did have a chemical smell. We decided to take it home clean it out and see If it would smell better., After a few days of cleaning and using a bio bomb inside, it did. So we decided to keep the car. Now the cat smell is coming back. I think Car max knew of that smell when they let us drive it. The interior was not detailed either. It was dirty. We have bought many cars from Car Max but will not again in the future. I should have brought the car back prior to the 10 days. I'm sorry I didn't. Now I'm stuck with a stinky car! Thanks Carmax :-(. More

I had my car shipped in from St. Louis and it was ready to test drive. The staff was very friendly! I am not happy with the service department. Tried to schedule a time when I could bring my new purchase back for some minor maintenance. They promised to call me the next day to set it up and it has been almost 2 weeks since then. Obviously they are not going to call back, Not good at all. Leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. More

I came to pick up my Car and I was leaving and the garage door came down on my trunk!!!!! I honked my horn and someone finally came out and was surprised!! It took 2 weeks to get my car back in to get a new door came down on my trunk!!!!! I honked my horn and someone finally came out and was surprised!! It took 2 weeks to get my car back in to get a new trunk. I was not very happy. the service guy told me he could put a spoiler on the truck? Told me to drop off my car at 8AM. I did. I called in the afternoon around 3pm and they said they just started working on it at 2pm. Due to my job I had to wait until the next day to pick it up. I picked it up and it appeared they didn't put a new trunk on just a used one. No spoiler. They were sending paperwork to Johnson county to get my tags I am still waiting. You would think through Car Max negligence they may have been a little more helpful. This was my first purchase with CarMax More
