I've gone through the a automated AI voice, I've been connected to a live person at your corporate offices a couple of times, but I,nor the people in the corporate office can reach a live person in Kansas City, Merriam location. Occasionally we get transfered to service with a full voicemail or a budiness offices that doesn't answer. We have an issue with the key within fob NOT being cut and we need it fixed. It's kind of hard to make that happen when no one answers. I'm 75, I frustrated and I just want someone to answer the phone. This is horrible customer service. More

I was looking for a very specific trim and color, and while I could have purchased through a local Land Rover dealership for a similar price, I decided to go through CarMax and had the vehicle shipped for $549. Throughout the process, every employee I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely tried to make things right. Calling in with questions was always a positive experience, and I appreciated the clear text updates while my vehicle was being shipped. When I arrived, I was quickly greeted and assisted, and everyone—from sales to customer service to the service department—was kind and professional. That said, the overall experience took much longer than expected. While my first salesperson was very nice, it seemed like she was still learning, and some mistakes and slower processing added time. Even though I had completed a lot of steps ahead of time, I ended up spending around 3.5 hours there on my first visit, only to be told at the end that paperwork had been completed incorrectly and I couldn’t take the vehicle home. I returned the next day expecting a quick finish, but spent another 3.5 hours, bringing the total to about 7 hours. There were also some issues with the vehicle preparation, including incorrect screws used for the front plate that caused visible damage, which was disappointing on a new purchase. The service team did help address it, but it added to the frustration. Overall, the people were great and did their best to help and I appreciated the work from Lovie and Jacob, but the process itself felt inefficient and much more time-consuming than it should have been—especially given how much I had prepared in advance. While I’m happy with the vehicle, the experience makes me question whether going directly through a dealership might have been a smoother option. More
Car buying experience was overall good. I reserved the car online and did a majority of the process online. Had a few hiccups in the payment but was overall good. I reserved the car online and did a majority of the process online. Had a few hiccups in the payment but was overall good. More

The vehicle's sunroof was not working properly during the test drive. This fault should have been identified prior to shipping. The vehicle was listed as having parking sensors, but it did not.
