Bought a Honda CRV and noticed a burning smell from the back tire. Took to my mechanic within a week of purchase to inspect the car and was told the caliber was stuck and needed to be replaced immediately back tire. Took to my mechanic within a week of purchase to inspect the car and was told the caliber was stuck and needed to be replaced immediately because it was a safety issue and could cause a fire. I had my mechanic fix it. CarMax refused to reimburse me because I was supposed to bring to them to fix it. This doesn’t seem like good customer service. Given that they sold me a vehicle that was in need of an immediate safety repair I think some compensation was only fair. More
