I went in with a lower than good credit rating, a small down payment, and didn't expect much. Wayne and Donny worked out a deal which took our Mazda5 and the low credit score and made it affordable. First I want to say I NEVER do these reviews, However I had such an outstanding experience at Cardinale Way Mazda that I felt compelled to do this one. I arrived with my son at 7:00 on Friday evening, 11/1 had such an outstanding experience at Cardinale Way Mazda that I felt compelled to do this one. I arrived with my son at 7:00 on Friday evening, 11/11/11. I was greeted by Matt Shelton, who instantly set off an air of not wanting to be a salesman but of somebody who actually wanted to do everything he could to make the customer happy. I explained to Matt what I was looking for and he walked me over to the exact vehicle I described. He was at the ready with keys and answers to any questions I asked without hesitation. He really knew his product and that impressed me. After our test drive I told him I was ready to make a deal, he not once put the "well lets go inside and work some numbers together", pressure to me. He allowed me time to think (out loud) about price, options, and financing without interjecting the typical salesman speak. Once inside he introduced me to Gabriel Garcia,the best Sales Manager, IMHO, I have ever dealt with, we all sat down and went over all issues. I am a USAA member and was unwilling to budge on the pricing USAA had provided me on either the vehicle, the cost of options, or my trade in value. Gabriel did an outstanding job of meeting all those prices. I later learned Cardinale Way is not a USAA member dealer so for Gabriel to go ahead and meet those prices showed me they really do want to satisfy their customers. I then had the pleasure of finalizing my deal on Monday 11/14/11, with Joean Senatore, and again was very surprised with the knowledge and expertise of the employees of Cardinale Way Mazda. Not only did Joean get me a better interest rate but she made sure my first payment would not be due until after the holidays. In closing, I have never had a more enjoyable car buying experience in my entire life. I have purchased over ten new cars in my life and I have always left the dealership feeling like I got worked over by the salesman and general manager. This time I left with a feeling of mutual respect and trust. I will definitely recommend Cardinale Way Mazda to any of my friends looking for a new car and when I am in the market for a new car Mazda will have a return customer strictly on the basis of this dealership. Great team to work with, no pressure to buy and Robert went out of his way to insure I saw all the vehicles that would meet the needs of my disabled wife. I felt that only the cx9s were large enough to accommodate our traveling requirements. Only after considerable time and review of several vehicles and options was I able to narrow the selection to three cx9s. Robert was very helpful and patient with me and never tried to pressure me one way or another. Price was certainly a factor and we were able to settle on what I thought was the right vehicle at an acceptable price. My origional intent was to look, but we are now the owners of a new cx9. Again, a great team to work with. More
