I went in for an oil change on my 2009 Mazda 3 in November of 2010. I was approached by Ramone to trade it in because it had low mileage. I explained that I was currently unemployed and just starting November of 2010. I was approached by Ramone to trade it in because it had low mileage. I explained that I was currently unemployed and just starting a temp job the next day. He said they could get me into a new car with a lower monthly payment. After having me test drive the most fully loaded, unaffordable car on the lot, they told me I wouldn't be able to get that one. I was then lead to a 2010 Mazda 3 with nice rims, bluetooth and automatic doorlocks with a keyless entry remote. It was probably one I could afford. After much back and forth, they told me they only had white ones. I said "no thanks, I'll just keep my current car". They were so pushy. I said "I HATE white cars." I later discovered that they had a ton of white ones to get rid of. They said we could get you that exact car you drove in Silver from Tucson tomorrow. I agreed, signed all the paperwork and went home with a loaner car. It wasn't a lower payment, by the way. This all started with a complete lie. At this point I was tired and burned out by the entire experience. I don't know how many times I just said, "No, I want my current car back". It took until 8pm the following night to get that car. It was NOT the same as the car I drove the day before. Cheap looking plastic hub caps, no keyless entry and no bluetooth. I brought that up, but they were eager to push me out the door. I returned many, many times after that to complain to Al, who helped with the financing. Ramone totally blew me off. He said "you know you can just buy rims". I said, "I'm a temp. What money am I going to use to buy rims I was expecting to be included." I would NEVER have paid that way over-inflated price for a car with 0 features. I pushed and pushed and Al agreed that they would get me the automatic, keyless locks put in after market by KarTunes. I agreed, reluctantly. At this point, I wanted out! KarTunes did the work and then I realized the trunk release didn't work. They only did the doors. I called Al. He explained that wasn't part of the deal. I was furious. I did somemore xxxxxxxx and finally got the trunk done. It took until February of 2011 to get this all done. I also had to do some major complaining to get the rims that I was originally supposed to have. So finally, but March of 2011, 4 months after purchase, the car has everything but the bluetooth. I know they can't add that now. I'm still furious. I will probably never buy a Mazda again. The trunk did not ever work properly. It was only last month that KarTunes replaced the trunk release for a better one. The back door locks are still only working off and on. I bought the maintenance package for the car that included oil changes and filters. I kind of wish I hadn't. I cannot go get a simple oil change without being hounded by SOMEONE to trade in my car or buy additional services. I can't just sit there and read while waiting for the work to be done. I'll either keep this Mazda until it falls apart or get another type of vehicle somewhere else. I'm ruined on Mazdas forever after all of this. I never spoke to Ramone again. I received an email a couple months ago on my birthday from him saying that if I came in the week of my birthday, he'd personally wash my car. I did NOT go in for that. My car is totally flithy after the recent dust, but I just wait until my oil changes. I have to find ways to avoid sitting at the dealership while getting the work done. I hate being hassled. I never had these issues when I had my Saturns. I had one for 12 year and the other for 5. I wish I had kept the last Saturn and never set toe in Cardinale Way Mazda. I would point out that Al tried to make things right, but it was so difficult that it hardly seems worth it now. It's been a year and I'm still feeling burned. I curse their store everytime the locks act up or the trunk doesn't work. Or when I make my crippling car payment. UPDATE 12/7/11**************************************************************** Al Lanz approached me about making this right by putting me in another car. I expressed an interest in a Mazda 2 because I thought they would get better gas mileage and that maybe get me a lower loan and payment. I test drove a Mazda 2 Sport. Now that I've had it a few days, I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of features. I really miss the radio controls in the steering wheel and the middle console for storing cds and insurance info. There is no storage at all in this car. The radio controls are closer to the passenger side so it's very uncomfortable to change channels and there is nowhere to store cds. The car is pretty zippy, but so far the gas mileage is really not impressive. I only drove 4 days before needing to refill and was only able to put 8 gallons of fuel in it. I thought it must be a tiny tank, but the specs say 11.3 gallon tank. I averaged the mileage to get about 31 miles to the gallon. I expected to get a bit more because that's what I got with my Mazda 3. I noticed a chip or bubble in the windshield after having it 2 days. Al said we can probably get that fixed. The switch was a clean swap, but I kind of feel like I got a "lesser" car for a big loan. The car is pretty basic, but I feel like I'm paying the most for the warranty/GAP/service contracts that I never really wanted and the fact that it's a brand new model year. Actually, It seems like my loan should have been a lot smaller for getting a lesser vehicle. I would have probably preferred a 2011 Mazda 2 Touring so that I could've gotten the features I wanted for the right price. I know they were really trying to make it right though. More
I came in for an oil change on my CX-7, but when I was there I told Donny I was thinking about trading it in for something with better gas mileage. He introduced me to Robert (Dizzy) who helped me pick ou there I told Donny I was thinking about trading it in for something with better gas mileage. He introduced me to Robert (Dizzy) who helped me pick out a car that fit my needs. Dizzy and Donny went above and beyond to make a deal work for me and gave me 3k more than any other dealer would for my trade-in. In fact, I had a dealer say they couldn't even do anything for me because of the negative equity I had in my car. Joean and Todd in finance also went above and beyond to take care of me and give me the best possible deal. I am confident that I couldn't have found another dealership to take care of me the way that they did. Now I have a brand new Mazda 3 and am in a much better situation than with my previous vehicle (which I purchased at a dealer in another state). I am so appreciative for everything that this dealership did for me. I highly recommend Cardinale Way Mazda and recommend Dizzy as a great sales guy to deal with. I trust them completely. More
I checked out the selection of used cars online before stopping in. Brian was very helpful in finding me a car that fit my needs and wants. He also got me into a better car that I expected for the price! stopping in. Brian was very helpful in finding me a car that fit my needs and wants. He also got me into a better car that I expected for the price! I didnt feel pressured to have to purchase something and he didnt try to back me into a corner when I left for the day to think about it.When I went back the next day, there was minimal back and forth with the negotiating and Todd in finance was very nice with no pressure to purchase extra services/warranties that I wasnt interested in. I would recommend this dealership to everyone! More
This dealership is excellent. I purchased my vehicle from them a little over a year and a half ago and the experience was great. I've continued to rely on this dealer for service as well even though I typica them a little over a year and a half ago and the experience was great. I've continued to rely on this dealer for service as well even though I typically do not sponsor paying higher dealer rates; however, their rates are fair and I know I am actually receiving quality service. With that background, the reason for my review today is that I experienced a blown-out tire from driving on the AZ freeway but was able to make it just outside the access road (less than 1 mile) from this dealership which is where I was headed after realizing my tire was going. I called and Chris came and picked me up and took me back to the dealership. Steve sent some service guys to put on the spare and drive it in. I purchased two tires (surprisingly very reasonably priced) and decided to have my 30k maintenance (which I had been avoiding) done at the same time. Car washed, maintenance, and two new tires and out the door in less than two hours from when I first called. Steve was great, the service was great, and the service team stayed at least 30 minutes over the closing time to complete the work. More

Chris and all the names mentioned were so genuine, down to earth and were very willing to work with us. The finance director(Mama) was superb. They put a smile on face for rest of our lives. I am going out of my way to announce and publicize to my friends how awesome this dealership is. I was very stressed when looking for a car, due to my current car situation. I hate going to car dealerships because I am not very well versed on cars. I always get anxious walking into a dealership be current car situation. I hate going to car dealerships because I am not very well versed on cars. I always get anxious walking into a dealership because its always full of a lot of questions, and people playing hard ball with numbers. I never felt that way walking into Cardinale Way. I felt very comfortable from the minute I drove onto that lot. Everyone I worked with from the salesman, the sales manager, the finance department and everyone who happened to walk by were so nice and friendly. I even forgot for a second that I was at a car dealership, because there was no stress involved in my purchase. I love my new car, and would come back to my sales person because he took such good care of me. More
