This is my third time buying from Carvana. They are very easy to deal with and honestly do go out of their way to make you happy. DON'T WAISTE YOUR TIME !!! After spending over an hour down loading and sending them all of the information they asked for on a car that I wanted to sell, they informed me that they "DO NOT" pick up the c down loading and sending them all of the information they asked for on a car that I wanted to sell, they informed me that they "DO NOT" pick up the car. They told me that I would have to drive it 340 miles to their drop off spot....... What happened to the, "We deliver and pick up at your door" commercials? More
Was very disappointed with the vehicle when it arrived. It’s not detailed like it was supposed to be and never had 150 point inspection done. Still waiting to see what Carvana is going to do for it. Two years ago I bought a car from Carvana and it was an amazing experience. So I started to refer them to everyone I knew (at least 3 people I know also bought a car after presented Carvana to them). This week I tried to buy another car and they made it so hard (every time I sent a document they asked me to another) that I had to cancel my order. I am so disappointed. More
I was very pleased with the app. once I started using it and having the ability to see the huge selection provided by Carvana and save my favorites. By doing so it made it much easier to narrow my search and be more specific w/ extras I would want after chosing the make/model I wanted. Once I began the purchasing process, I have my own credit union financing. This became an issue when I was asked for certain documents and other financial "things" I'm not familiar w/ simply 'cause that's not my field of expertise. This lead me to another issue which was connecting my loan officer to the case handler from Carvana and the reason is because, when calling Carvana you have 1 number to contact. This lead (every time) to long holds and then speaking to a call center individual who needed explanation of where we were in the process and what I needed was simply a person above them to help move forward. Since i have a job, I wouldn't always be available to answer when a Carvana financial representative would call me. Then I would have to start the process all over again by calling the basic 1-800# & talk to another individual who would put me on a long hold just to try to catch up and figure out how to help me when all I needed was a direct line to the finance dept. who knew what we needed to finalize the process. Then once I was able to get on a 3 way call w/ my loan officer and a Carvana financial officer we closed. LASTLY the date was set for my truck to arrive. It was perfect, i would've had the truck with 3 days of driving and checking it out before my family needed that truck for our vacation later that week. The day my truck is set to arrive I received an email saying it will now get pushed back a week 'cuz it wasn't loaded on to the hauler it was meant for. After dancing around the phone issues again, finally speaking w/ a woman who was able to actually go above and beyond to correct this mistake. She was able to get the truck to my house the day we were leaving for vacation. I literally took it off the Carvana hauler and loaded it up and drove out of town. Couldn't have my own mechanic look it over, etc. This was an issues 'cuz I would be putting more miles on it than allowed to if I chose to return it. So if I had any issues during that trip, it would be on me to have them fixed and it just so happened that I did have a slight, not major, but something I'd like to have looked at. Once reaching 80 mph on a road in Texas the speed limit is 85 mph. I noticed a slight "shimmy/vibration " only at that speed and above. So i assumed I'd put it off until I have the money to look into it, because I don't drive that fast very often at all. So driving locally isn't an issue. Those were the "speed bumps" or issues I had. I suggest once a customer is locked into the process allowing them access to the next level higher of employee rather than always starting from the beginning and having to explain again and again to diff call center employees. everything was so simple I could do it, from finding the truck to delivery ..Mike the delivery man is one of the nicest people I've met .,went through all the paperwork with me.
