The reservation process was also very quick and helpful. Car photos were clear and the car was delivered in sparkling condition. Silver Rock agreed to pay for repairs at a VW dealership with no co-pay (see below) Things you did not do well: Car was advertised as White but is actually White Silver Metallic. To be fair I didn’t notice this difference in color for about a week. Even the VW techs thought it was Pure White at first glance. It’s a subtle color difference but I would expect a car sales company to be specific and get it exactly right. The original sales sticker included in the car specified the exact color. Info should have been taken from that. I love this color, even though it’s not what I expect which is why I kept the car. Car was delivered with more than 40k miles, but the VW recommended 40k mile service was never performed. Despite Carvana’s inspection approval of the brake pads, a VW safety inspection found that the front brake pads needed replacing. The car was delivered with strut pucks still in the front suspension. Technically these should have been removed by the VW dealer prior to the car being sold for the first time, and I wouldn’t really expect any used car inspector to check for them, since it’s a VW specific problem and they should never make it into a customer’s hands anyway. Still, the car had a very stiff ride before I found and removed them myself. They also could have caused damage to the front suspension. Getting a real person on the phone to talk to takes a very long time. I tried using the chat feature on the site and tried chatting through SMS but both times I was never able to get through to a real person. Overall I’m pretty impressed with Carvana despite the issues mentioned above. If SilverRock had refused to cover the repairs I mentioned this rating would have been MUCH lower. It’s unacceptable to sell a car to someone and expect them to immeadiately spend $1200 of their own money on repairs/needed maintenance. More

I was brought a car with no state inspection. I had to do it myself. Found a leaking left front strut. And then found out that the sunroof was leaking so bad that the floors were soaking wet. Decided to return the car set up an appointment for it to get picked up. No one showed up to pick the car up. I am very busy this week as my daughter is getting married on Saturday and this has been a complete hassle. More
