Wonderful car buying expirence! Only problem was one person that called me saying how he was trying to set up my delivery but couldn't because I hadn't payed my down payment when I actually had 2 day ea person that called me saying how he was trying to set up my delivery but couldn't because I hadn't payed my down payment when I actually had 2 day earlier. He was very rude and kept saying how his system didn't show the payment and said "he would look into it, but if the system doesn't show it then it didn't happen". I called back the next day and the other person said the system didn't show the payment but looked somewhere else in the system and it showed I had indeed payed the down payment, he was very apologetic and insured me he would get my delivery set up as quickly as possible. Other than that one hiccup, everything went very smooth. I will still recommend Carvana to anyone that is looking for a new car. More
My first time buying online and I must say that it wasn't very pleasant! Double charged me for the down-payment and it's been 10 days and still no refund!!!! Buying the car was the easy part. Communicating with Carvana and getting the car delivered was a challenge. I love the concept, but Carvana is clearly understaffed. Even the online chat is horrible, Carvana and getting the car delivered was a challenge. I love the concept, but Carvana is clearly understaffed. Even the online chat is horrible, where it's obvious that 1 agent must be talking to 100 people at once. Ask a question and it may be 10 minutes or more before any response is returned. Likewise, the phone wait times are often over an hour, which is just unacceptable. Submit a form, and you may or may not get a reply. They also have problems with their transportation network. A quick Twitter search revealed that folks often find out the day before delivery is scheduled that there is a delay. This was the case for me. At 8am the day before delivery, I got an email that everything was on track. At 12:51pm that same day, I got an email that there was an unexpected delay with transportation, and it needed to be rescheduled for 5 days later! WHAT?! This suggests some major flaws with their internal communication, and transportation pipelines. To make matters worse, the day of my rescheduled delivery, I got a call that they couldn't deliver that day because my vehicle arrived damaged, and needed to be repaired first. This suggests carelessness, and further erodes confidence. In the end, I received my vehicle 1 week after the original scheduled delivery date, and with a couple of additional scuffs and scratches that Carvana will take care of through a third party (but it still requires that I do the leg work). Even with those minor cosmetic issues, I love the vehicle. It is in excellent condition otherwise. Despite those delays and the frustrations, overall I am happy with purchase, and I will probably buy from Carvana again in the future (but I hope they fix their staffing issues by then). More
I was hesitant at first buying a car online, but turned out to be very straightforward and easy. The original delivery date got delayed, but a real person, Trina, reached out as soon as I texted them and w out to be very straightforward and easy. Amazing experience. Never talked to a salesman. Searching the inventory online was easy. They give you plenty of information to make an educated decision you can be happy with. They dropped off our beautiful car and loaded up our trade-in and away they went. They are even taking care of the registration process....No visit to the BMV😁 More
I arrived on time but was told the car was still being prepared. After ten minutes I was told they were just filling up the gas tank. Finally, after more than 30 minutes of waiting, the sales rep came out to talk and said they would have the vehicle ready shortly. Ten minutes after that the car was finally ready. I chose Carvana for the convenience and this experience as certainly a disappointment. More
