Everything was surprisingly quick and easy. It was my first time buying from Carvana. They were able to answer all my questions quickly and even compensated me for part of my insurance due to a couple de first time buying from Carvana. I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that when I was doing some of my my own inspecting and cleaning (I'm not a car guy) I discovered that only one air filter had been changed. One was brand new and the other looked like it had been in there forever it was completely black, gunked up, and falling apart. I hope nothing else was missed and I'm glad I got the extended warranty. I would definitely buy from Carvana again and recommend to others. More

They make you DocuSign the purchase agreement before seeing the car. Then again on pickup day, along with all other acceptance documents first. After that, they lower the car off the lift (vending machine),and give you 10 min. to look at it before the next booked appointment. They don't provide you with a Bill of Sale until after the 7-day return warranty either. After multiple inspections, I was given the vehicle with $3,000 in cosmetic and mechanical repairs that were not listed in the issues nor imperfections while shopping online. Carvana's system is the master of making people wait and dragging them along, during a fast-moving process. I have no confidence in their "150 Point" inspection either, as they failed to find/include a 2 ft. (not exaggerating) paint imperfection that a collision shop says was a tape line, peeled off of a wet paint job. There were other signs of sub-par paint work and a dented rocker panel. The car needed an alignment and had uneven tire wear because of said neglect. It also had a leaking shock on the same side as all the other stuff, showing it may have been in an unreported accident. Carvana did offer to cover repair costs on some things. However, after many hours of waiting in queue, conversations with too many people, and inability to get done what was needed in a decent timeframe, I had long enough to think that there might be other issues that may come up. I decided to return the vehicle on day 6 of 7 days to do so. They offered to exchange it. But, I didn’t want to do any more business with them. On top of that, they refused to cover any losses for the daily accrued interest on the car loan I took out to pay Carvana. Or, the costs for the down payment on the new insurance policy created for the car. The only thing they gave me was a letter from them, to forward to other businesses. Trying to push their 7-Day return policy on them, and to please not hold me liable. Now, I am getting my money back with a few wounds and I’m done right? No, I also traded my vehicle in. So now, I need mine back. It apparently was moved to a storage lot after 72 hours and I can’t just go pick it up. I had to schedule the delivery of my car, to swap my trade-in with the car I purchased from Carvana. The earliest appointment was a week later. The observed business practices and lack of care coming from Carvana created the want to leave this review. I just wanted to find a better car for the winter and ended up in car purgatory. If they had included the imperfections, I would have looked over the car and picked another. They also handled the issues I experienced without actually wanting to resolve them, and I thought that they were shady for doing that. My fiance bought a car through Carvana around the same time and didn't have the best experience either. For instance, her car got stuck in the vending machine. It took 30 min. for tech support to fix it. Her car also had uneven tire wear, because of needing an alignment. And, there was a piece of one side mirror that was broken and was scotch taped back on. Overall good experience. Car was in excellent condition, felt no pressure to accept the car upon arrival. Trade-in was smooth. This was the most convenient way to buy a car considering the circumstances that everyone find themselves in with regards to COVID-19. I’ve had many car buying experiences and Carvana was by far the best. It was fast, simple and straight to point. The car was just as I expected, nothing hidden. They were wonderful until the vehicle was delivered. It was delivered the vehicle with a bad rear differential. Then left the problem in the lap of me, The customer. Their “warranty” company wanted to have me leave the vehicle so they could send their own inspector to inspect it. If he were to approve it then they would send their own USED not refurbished parts to repair it with. On top of that they didn’t want to pay for anything over a 400$ rental fee, but wouldn’t give me even a general time frame on the time it would take for parts and repairs. I bought the vehicle for work and was preparing to leave for work in 3 day’s. They continued to tell me they wouldn’t help other than that. That I could return the vehicle, but they still wouldn't have me a new vehicle in time for my work trip and if I returned it they would not pay any of the rental. It took 2 days on the phone and multiple supervisors to get them to agree to help me with the extremely gracious offer of paying 200$ more of my rental fee. Buying a vehicle through Carvana was simple and nice. Their customer service and assistance after the purchase was the worst I’ve ever experienced and I would firmly never recommend Carvana to anyone after this experience.... More
